easiest sativa-ish mandala strain
Hello,
i am looking for a not to strong sativa dominant plant from mandala seeds. It should be very forgiving to new growers and leave you with a energy butt without tired eyes and the desire to nap. |

I would say to go with whatever looks good to you, they all should be easy enough, just watch the stretch.

As mentioned before, Mandala #1 sounds like it would fit your needs. I have some growing now, 2 girls and a nice looking male that I plan to make some f2s with as soon as ready. These are from beans picked up from Mandala store earlier this year that were reworked about 2-3 years ago using a daddy that leaned more Sativa as I understand and more potent. I grew half the pack earlier this year and all plants looked and smoked far more Sativa than earlier version. Very easy to grow and finished bout 65 days as I recall. As much as I liked the old M1, I think the rework was a good choice. These girls are about 6 weeks vegging under 400w T5s.

Yes, I ran the M1 from a pack about the same years, 2009-2010 and your description "clear headed peace" is pretty much dead on. Got all girls from that 10 pk, so no F2s and didn't take any cuts. Most all my plants were the dried apple smelling pheno like you had, and always wanted to try more, finally ordered the new version from Mandala store in Jan. of this year. Popped 5 in Spring and the rest a couple months ago, still vegging 2 girls and flowering 1 of the 3 boys. All my plants from this reworked version showed a strong influence from the new Sativa leaning daddy. Reminds me a lot of the more 'sativa' pheno from Satori. Very happy long lasting sativa high, more potent than the old M1. I think anyone who likes that kind of smoke would love it, pretty different from the earlier M1. Never detected any of the apple smell either.
