@45th

Thanks for your input.

Above a water heater in paper bag dries out pretty fast.

Heard from a member that succumbed to bud rot due to uncharacteristically wet summer in the lower Midwest.

Have had growers in Montana do well with our strains, as well as OR/WA, NH down to TX.

If you start near or close to Labor Day(1st weekend September), most all of our strains will be done by early Nov, a few days beyond Halloween.

Hope that helps.

Howdy Aridbud

been doing updates on other varieties I've acquired thru seedbay and have neglected to drop in and post up my Azure Rocket grow.
I got my seeds as freebies with a seedbay order and was pretty stoked as I had wanted to run a couple different autos this summer outdoor just to try them out.

So I started the 6 beans on June 6th. I got 5 out of 6 to grow into seedlings and after 2 weeks I put them out in my greenhouse on the solstice. I can't remember at what point they started to show sex but I think it was around week 4. I got 1 female, 3 males and one runty one that I think I may have overwatered in the early stages. Culled all but the female.

So over the course of the plants life I have just stuck it in a 1.5 gallon pot of home made organic mix and fed it only water. I gave it a spot in the greenhouse that is not so optimal and really have kind of just left it to do what it wants to do. It wasn't really that impressive, cool, noveltyish in how small it is..... but then as the last couple weeks have gone by I have begun to notice a few very positive attributes. It is absolutely bug resistant where my other plants have the evidence of many different plant munchers from thrips to leaf hoppers to grasshoppers, aphids, catterpillars..... you name it, I've seen it here n there. I also have many natural predators cruising around so a balance is happening. Azure Rocket however, does not have a single bit of evidence of insect attack. It has also developed very respectable trichome coverage in the past 10 days or so. When touched it reeks strong of sickly sweet berry candy. It smells so good !! and gets the fingers sticky. It's calyxes are starting to swallow the pistils, zero signs of mold.... starting to fade out in the leaves and tinges of reddish purple on the edges of the sugar leaves. She is small, about 16 inches tall and might yield 7 to 10 grams? I dunno. I don't think folks reading this should weigh much into my yield as I could have maximized this plant in a bigger pot and some TLC.
I'll update after harvest but at this point, I think I would like to grow something like this again. Where I live at 52.5 N in western Canada, small plants that finish in early to mid august are a godsend if one could plant a shitload of them on the side of a mountain somewhere or do a carpet of them in a greenhouse.

this pic was july 20th

I figure she's a week from harvest now, and this pic was taken a couple days ago

Looks great Tyne!! We actually have 3 customers in the USA of A that do just that with Azure Rocket...."plant a shitload of them on the side of a mountain somewhere or do a carpet of them in a greenhouse."

well, the curing is at that point today that I'm getting to smoke my first samples of Azure Rocket.
Opening the jar is a reward in itself. Strong sweet blueberry/strawberry jam funk. The flavor is very similar to the smell and in one word, lipsmackinglygood
While the finished bud is more airy than indoor bud, the trichome coverage is as frosty as one could hope. Sticky fingers cutting up a joint that's for sure.
I was only expecting 7 to 10 grams from this little plant and am happily surprised to see the scale sitting at 16.3grams.
Overall, I am exceptionally pleased and really glad the folks at seedbay threw these in on my order so I could have this autoflower experience.
Two thumbs up for Azure Rocket, it's some damn fine tasty smoke with a real good strong indica type buzz. no couchlock, very up high, but narcotic and tho tastes fantastic, it's got that indica bite and head to it for sure

Great to hear, Tynehead. Azure Rocket was made specifically for those needing an uplift without couch lock.....hoping to help with depression and pain....giving it an "everything's all right" type feeling.

Much appreciation for your grow log and review. Smoke her...."life is OK"! With all the strains we've created, Azure is still my favorite in my jar collection.
