with the amount of tape he has going, i dont see any risk, haha. Anyway, regular wall outlet current isnt dangerous, just shocking, and when i had my hair iron controls mounted naked on my quick-grip, it just gave me baby shocks from the circuitry, mostly just annoying.

Just worried or an arcfrom a wire coming loose on the plates. How do you attach the plates? Seems easier on the hands.

Ah by vise mount I mean to hold the Quick Grip upright. I just found it faster/stable.

Joel on FC built plates for vises, may have even been the first vertical presser. If you give a shit about such things. I always figure for each person who uploads an idea, ten people did it before it was even a kernel in their mind.

I can barely move the new press without bulging a hernia. Just got my fancy pants Omega SSR's. And a bendy flashlight.

Not to be left unmentioned, lotsa bubble wrap to pop pop pop.

A high temperature bonding cement like jb weld works well, but honestly, i havent bothered attaching it. i have what seems like an indestructable hair iron, just keeps on taking a crushing.

I've read the whole topic and it seems only US people are commenting about the shocks; 110V shock might be easier to take, but if I build one here in europe, it will be a 240V shock and I can die far easier..

So are there any commercial grade HMK premade presses or do I just have to risk my life?

Its not the volts, its the amps that matter.
