Hello all, just wanted to make this thread for those that will aquire these crosses from the server fund raiser and others interested in these (hopefully) enhanced CBD plants. The mother is from a feminized seed from the CBD Crew Outdoor mix. The fathers were more indica rose smelling Vitality stud and a vigorous lemony male from RSC, original landrace from Kumaon valley.

Hi jenery,

But you know that CBD mix x Whateverstrain will result in 50% 'CBD enhanced' plants (i.e. 1:1 THC:CBD) and 50% 'normal' THC-only hybrids?
Did you test the Kumaoni male for its chemotype? Cause it could also be a CBD containing individual resulting in the worst case in CBD-only offspring...

Just wondering, that's all

hello, i was researching this thing and got to the same conclusion, unfortunately i have not seen it proven anywhere. If this trait actually passes to the offspring, it should come out as 1:2:1 ratio with 25% only THC, 50% 1:1 THC:CBD and 25% only CBD, but that is an assumption only, again. I was actually hoping that the Kumaoni cross would have really high CBD content. I made these seeds for the medicinal purpose, so that the 1:1 THC:CBD or CBD only phenos would come up for the people, they were on seedbay for those willing to experiment and look for the CBD plants for their gardens...

No, this ratio is not an assumption but really follows the Mendelian rule for codominance (in your case 1:2:1)

Do you still have plant material from the Kumaoni or even a clone?
Because there are rather simple tests for CBD and THC (Beam-Test & Duquenois-Negm, chapter 6.5). They aren't that sensitive and for sure not quantitative but may simply indicate presence or absence of the two so you'd knew if the THC:CBD ratio was something like 2:0, 1:1, or 0:2. It nearly always is one of these proportions (in reality it's usually 10-20:1 and not 2:0... but anyway) due to codominant/intermediate inheritance of the two alleles.
Just in case and if you want to get a 1:1 ratio in all the seeds of your next grow, simply take one parent THC-only and one CBD-only. For example a nice 'normal' strain and one from RSC which you tested beforehand for CBD-only.
Both should have high levels in total cannabinoids and so the offspring will have 50% THC and 50% CBD of that... Say, you have a Flo with 20% THC and a Kumaoni with 10% CBD, the F1 would have plants with 1:1 THC:CBD of together ~15% (the female tendentially dominates when it comes to cannabinoid concentration -> you did good to take the Kumaoni as male

) or each one alone at 7.5%, simple, no?

Finishing a CBDxVitality crossed with Bubba Kush. Got these as Freebie from Seedbay several years back. Wanting to increase CBD levels of photoperiod even though I normally hybridize autoflowers.

Anyone have additional info on the CBDxVitality hybrid? I skimmed several threads, but didn't find the info I was looking for....

What is Vitality's genetics? Red Kalimist x Red Dutch Passion FLO ??
Anyone doing F3's or more on CBDxVitality?

Like the multi-branched heavily ladened colas. Chime in, folks!
