SolarPlex's Two Tent Grow Show

Hey there everybody

I have finally settled down from the longest trip of my life so far, 6 weeks along the west coast in a barely converted school bus. I saw many beautiful things including the Oregon Coastline and some Northern parts of Cali. I had a crop going at a buddies house before I left for Burning Man but pretty much all was lost due to neglect. I chose two moms to rescue. The Calyx Bros Blackberry Kush X Cheese F2 female I got from a pack of seeds and my favorite strain BioChem which is running into issues on the veg side(good thing I can always get more cuts if not). Fairly confident that things will pull through for both of my moms though.

[BioChem issues]

[Week 2 CheeseBite]

I popped some beans a week or so ago. Some Strawberry Cheesecake X Shark Bite. Read up on the parent strains and it seems like both produce and finish early. They are looking pretty good.

I have more beans to pop, like some Bodhi Seeds Dreambeaver and some White Berry X Cannatonic seeds that a buddy gave me.

On top of all the seed popping I just picked up some clones, I added Glass Slipper and a strain called Lucy to the list.

Right now there is nothing too exciting going and I am waiting to buy more equipment and get the remainder of my stuff from the old grow while the ladies grow so I can clone and flip.

My tents are two Apollo tents purchased from Amazon, one 5' x 5' for veg and one 4' x 8' for bloom. In veg I just have two 4' 8 tube T5 fixtures, and a couple of fans. I intend on setting up a small passive system when I get enough money for a 4" fan and some fan speed adjusters and another carbon filter.

The bloom is going to be two mix matched hoods, one basic Hydrofarm hood and a SunSystem Yield Master II, I want to get matched hoods but that will have to wait. I do have 2 8" cool tubes to rig up a vertical system if I desire. In my hoods I will be running two UltraSun Dual Arc bulbs. I'm going to isolate the light venting and run a separate passive system through bloom.

Both tents are in a basement, its not that hard to cool. Min and max temps for the veg tent have been 59F - 75F. Everything is going to be vented right out the window. So I don't think I will have any issues with 2kW in a 4x8 tent. If anything I might need to add some heat during the night or figure out a venting solution for not letting that cold Colorado air into my tents.

Nutrients are a mixture of H&G, Canna mainly. I do use Botanicare Liquid Karma and CalMag sometimes as well as OG Tea for the occasional microbial tea drench. Been thinking about switching to all H&G for a little seeing as some of the dispensaries I work for run it and kill it with that set up.

Till next time, thanks for taking the time to read. Time to get back to work

I had to split up the post due to photo count.

My moms are recovering really fast. The BioChem is almost ready to clone.

[BioChem]

[Blackberry Kush X Cheese F2]

I also have 2 Glass Slipper clones and a Lucy clone that are starting to take off.

As well as a small tray of clones coming along.

I got some Cannatonic X Berry White seeds about to go into cups.

I just ordered two 1000w UltraSun dual arc bulbs for the second tent. Need to set up venting still. I also got some pvc fittings to make an aero cloner because I miss having one.

Till next time, things are going to get real exciting real soon

Sounds like quite the trip, are you happy to be home now?
6 weeks is a long time. esp having a grow going - I have hard time leaving them for even a few days. Even when someone's looking after them, I feel like they don't care about them as much as I do and then things get neglected and overlooked.

Got some nice looking girls there
That biochem sounds nice-
And that's crazy mycro fuzz..
Keep it rocking... Good vibes
I ll tagg along for the ride, right up in front
