oily trichomes, hash?
So ive gotten this plant donated to me by a friend who has no use for it because its a "oily plant"
well it def is, if you touch it, it doesnt stick, it coats! i was told to make it into butter when its done (can cut it down anytime this week) but i was thinking.. what else can i do with it? the idea of putting the whole plant straight into butter made me laugh so its -> butter or ?? i thought about rubbing it, like the old days, but maybe someone had better ideas? ps im not gonna buy a closed loop bho set for one plant, nope

i love rolling a joint of well cured weed then taking that joint and rubbing it on a oily, greasy cola close to harvest (generally week 6 or later)... greasy joints are a favorite harvest time treat, perhaps your oily plant would be good for this.... buds are a lil mangled when u harvest them but still worthy.

also consider making some "black oil" or pheonix tears style meds...
to do this i just soak plant matter in everclear / food grade ethanol for a couple weeks, separate plant matter out of liquid, then evaporate alcohol out of the liquid solution in a rice cooker, and collect the dark tar like liquid when alcohol is gone... then melt some lecithin into that, and perhaps even dillute in coconut oil as a further carrier solvent.... then you can put that in pills or use it in cooking or melt on food, or take by the spoon.

My hp13 is the greeziest most oily plant Iv ever budded out.
A stark and complete difference from the TH deep chunk. Wich is dry sandy type ball berrings of hash even at 5-6 weeks. Iv found that the greasiest plants make fantastic oils. Possibly terpier or more flavorful oils. Depending on strain oc. Do you know what strain it is? We know through the peeps using D-limionine that terps are a solvent. Perhaps your strain is higher than average terpene content? My other theory is that the greeziest resin heads have less paraffin/waxes surrounding the trich heads making them more suitable to solvent extraction. The dryer hashes being ideal for sifting of all sorts. Diversity is awesome! Hope it kicks out lots of tasty J's Mounds of extra melty hash or epic butter balls. Let us kno what you find out. |

she said its afghan haze, would explain the purpling
cut it down last night, letting half dry on the stem, pulled half off to dry quicker and see how it will do as oil will keep you posted if results are pleasing |
