For those of you who don't have the magic white balance setting (like my 10 yr old low-end Kodak), you may want to switch to manual mode shooting, then try these values :
F4.8 - 1/125 aperture time - Forced flash That is the setting I use for general overview pictures, 2-3 feet away from the plants & LEDs. For close-up pictures, I generally use: F8 - 1/500 (up to 1/800) - Forced flash If the picture is too dark, you need to increase the aperture time (1/100 is more than 1/500). If only some parts of a plant are too dark, you need to decrease the focale (F). Play a bit with these settings, always with flash forced, and you'll succeed.
