Hello IC maggers and seed junkies,

I want to announce the begining of the research and developmnt seed collective I am invovled in... Rough Diamond Seeds, coming soon to ICmag and seedbay.

It is what I beleive to be very innovative in the cannabis genetics industry in terms of implimenting standardized scientific breeding protocols in the process of selecting and stabilizing certain expressions and then offering those genetics in their current states of progress at cost.

As Rough Diamond Seed Collective operates on a not for profit basis.

Mission statement

The philosophy of RDSC is one of ethical cannabis stewardship, and a desire to bring out the best from within cannabis for the betterment and benefit of humanity and nature.

Our mission, is to aid in the efforts to not only produce cannabis genetic material in the form of seeds that meet or exceeds the current market standards for quality and production through the use of scietifically standardized practices, while lowering the mean cost. But also fund the kind of projects and scientific experiments neccessary to make serious progress in cannabis breeding by offering the fruits of those projects as they happen. So not only can one obtain access to rare limited edition genetics of awesome quality but the cost of those genetics directly goes back into even further improving those genetics. The result is when one of our breeders makes an offering through their main company after running that variety through Rough Diamonds breeding programs you can be assured that every pack sold contains the upmost in floral quality and the advertised phenotypes... or it wont make it out of our program and be certified.

As a not for profit organization, 100% of revenue collected through the offering of genetics goes directly to the production and allocation costs of said genetic material as well to further reasearch and development of cannabis varieties (as well as occasional charity fund raiser specials). When one acquires genetic material via RDSC they are taking an active stance and they themselves are aiding the progress and betterment of humanity and earth through; the work all cannabis growers do, the research this relationship affords us at RDSC and the support and efforts of our collective members.

Part of our policy is transparency, so you see the breeding process, the genetic contributors and the siblings to the seeds one may aquire, as it happens right in front of your eyes or you may easily find it all after the fact as a matter of record... before you acquire the seed.

That is our mission, that is our legend.

The contest...

involves logo creation... I'm not super skilled at tech stuff and dont have photo shop, but we could use a couple real nice logo's and so I figured if you guys would be so kind to make and submit some... I could add a poll to the thread and they could be voted on.
EDIT: one thumbnail type pic and a banner would be great... submit either or both for two chances to win some packs.


the top three or so can win some prize packs that will be sent into the bay.

here is a picture I found, and what little I did with it... if you want to alter this pic to make a logo or find another one it's all fine with me...


I think a nice big uncut diamond in a pile of cannabis seeds with the Rough diamond seeds name on there somewhere (maybe in old english) would be cool... but get creative, surprise me.
