Question surfacants for foliar sprays

OK I don't want to spend $20-40 for things like penetrator (DM) or Wet Betty (AN). I really dig the products that they do have, but only some have built in penatrators/surficants like scorpion juice, or b-52 (Good shit btw)

So there has to be a cheap way to do it right? Though in the stufff that I like dealing w/fungi or beneficial bacteria, if I tried to use the wrong soaps for surficants (to disrupt surface tension of water, thus allowing stomata of leaves to better/quickly absorb foliar) they'll kill the product. Antibacterial soap I'm assuming sucks.
So what experience have you guys out there to deal with surface tension on foliars cheaply. I'm so poo' I can't afford the "r" at the end of the word!
Thnx

SM-90 is a surfacant as well, usually in the $15 to $20/liter range. The major ingredient is canola oil though. If you can find the percentage you might be able to whip up a homemade batch?

there has to be something else along w/canola oil to break surface tension and disperse oil or nutes--often is types of soap.
I just wondered if anyone had used something effective-not pricey--soap could be cheap but not if it neutralizes the foliar nutes. salad dressing (oil & water) would collect worse than water alone
any other things in it?

Coriander oil was another. Im sure if you looked around for the formula of SM-90 it wouldnt be hard to find.

coconut oil supposedly is the right ionic but I use horticultural oil 7$ canadian a couple drops of no more tears baby shampoo ?$ and a bit of sm90 say 1\2 cap to a litre with no problems . Plus what ever your main additive at no more than 300ppm . Ps walmart has ppm meteres for 15$ in the camper section of the auto section they only go to 1000 ppm but read exactly the same as my 200$ meter. the fish tank thermometers with the suction cup fit nicely in humidity domes for cloning. No I cant spell and cantire is my favorite store not wallmart.

Dr. Bronner Castle Soap

I haven't tried their lavender version yet, but my buddy states that it makes an excellent surfactant and the lavender also aids in pest control.

Ingredients: Water, Saponified Coconut-Hemp-Olive Oils (with retained Glycerin), Olive Fatty Acids, Lavandin & Lavender Oils, Rosemary Extract.

Strange as it may sound I prefer to use half a teaspoon of hair shampoo, I dated an industrial chemist for a while, she worked in hair product design, one really difficult issue was getting a ph neutral surfactant to bond that cleaning stuff to human hair, same with weed surfactants,... easy to work with too, ...go by the smell ....lol
