New grower, questions: Durban x (OG Kush x SD)

Greetings y'all. I'm new to IC, but I have been doing quite a bit of reading to get familiar with the place. I'm looking at doing my first grow this year, outdoors, and have some questions.

I've seen GanjaRebelSeeds personal grows, and other people growing his genetics, and I'm impressed. I see that the Durban x (OG x SD) is the only strain on Seedbay at the moment. Anyone here grown it? What kind of yield could I expect (keeping in mind this is my first grow)? I am located in NW Oregon, around 46* latitude. I plan on growing in a hoop house FWIW.

I am planning on growing a few Hybrids From Hell strains, because I am confident they will handle the worst my climate can dish out, as well as finish plenty early. The only thing I haven't seen much of regarding HFH is yield...something that GRS gear does not seem to lack! Part of the lower yields from HFH I'm seeing could be latitude related (50-60*N). Will I lose a lot of yield from the GRS gear at my latitude, compared to the 38-41*N of all the Triangle boys? If I could get a couple plants to pull 2+ pounds I would be ECSTATIC.

Is there anywhere besides Seedbay I could get GRS gear? Any other strains floating around out there?

Thanks for the interest BigNoise.
The OG x SD X Durban can yield really well, however they can take a while to finish. There is some variation, you will find shorter flowering dense phenos that can be done by OCT 10th and some that will not be as dense but will have huge buds and finish between OCT 15-25th.
It's not the best hybrid for your climate as it can mold but you'll be impressed with the yield. It gets greasy with resin too and has some great smells.
2 lbs should be doable where you live as long as you have enough soil to allow for a lot of root space.
Hope this helps.

Peace

I appreciate the reply! I'm hoping to be able to keep mold at bay by growing in well ventilated hoop houses. I plan on growing in fairly large mounds, 1 yard minimum.

Any other strains of yours I should keep an eye out for in the future that would work up here? Those 5G x Blue Dreams look like monsters! I would love to play with those at some point.

After reading the "large plants outdoor" thread, I'm hoping in the next few years I can start pushing the limits for growing trees up here in the cool, soggy rainforest.
