Two ST#4 ladies overgrowing my tent
Here are two Sweet Tooth#4 ladies that are trying to grow big in a small space. Even though they only have a 70 watter and a 1.5x1.5x3 feet at their disposal, they have huge ambitions. I reckon that the low light penetration made them stretch a little. Nothing bad though, they’ve still got 15cms left! (I’m crossing my fingers that they are going to stop stretching now and focus on flowering).
I got the seeds from SOTF, thanks again man! Hope you are safe. The beans were marked with a “GF” on the pack, and they came from a special mom, as SOTF explained. I am really looking forward to this one, as the only ST#4 plant I had was in 2004 and it turned out to be a male. This is actually my third attempt at growing this strain – the last two were all males! Struck gold this time, I was very happy to see them both show pistils. Setup: 45x45x90cm tent 70w hps CAN filter Small in line fan Food: Blumats Bottled water BioNova Coco HG Roots Excelulator pH 6.2, current EC 1.8 Okay, enough of bs, here they are after ~2 weeks of 18/6 and 4 weeks of 12/12: The smaller one is 5 weeks old, the bigger one is one week older. They seem to be doing well, despite being burnt by the lamp a couple of times (growing way too fast, can't keep up pulling the lamp higher). Not much going on in the smell department so far, they definitely start to mark their presence though. I may have to upgrade the fan/filter combo later on. Rubbed stems definitely have a skunky/grapefruity scent. I will try to update the thread every now and then, can't wait to see them in full bloom!

Here's a picture of them 3 weeks ago:
And the last run that turned out all male! It's not a big tent but it's more than enough for my lightweight smoking needs. I tend to smoke less and less but growing gives me too much joy to quit just because I don't smoke often! Here's a pic of my last year's Alpha Dog x Sweet Cindy99:

Nice plants. I too love growing as much as smoking.
