Great examples of the phenotype's to be found in AT Kong...

Excellent grow TestyMC...K+ all the way....

Cut at 61... Wow,I would not have guessed they finish that soon...
They look ready for the most part and im not complaining about
a 60 day finish... For me this test shows that ATK will do much
better in a Hydro/DTW type environment VS FF-Living soil...
Of course there are those that have their mix dialed such that anything
would thrive but for most users im going to suggest going Hydro..


Yours are by far the closes to what I have had in my own pools.

P1 Looks much like momma kong in structure/leaf/staying green till
chop yet had the vigor of p2-p3 and the smells of p4 with just a hint
of pepper(Could be a fuel)...

It looks like we shared P4 and P1...
Im my pool(garden) when left to 80 days both hinted at turning
maroon in color and the P4 really pushed out some fruity funk...

Then again I had a 4' space sharing a single 600(hooded)
Less intense lighting may have played a part in maroon...lol

P4 being my favorite smoke of the kongs thus far...
Has a great consistent party high that though mellow
is ever present and fairly long lasting... She had a stellar nose
into the jar and through 5-6 days,then I opened like a week later
and the smell was gone. Still trying to figure that one out...
They did have a really slow dry(like 10 days hanging)..lol Anyways...
A good cure is key to long term enjoyment...

Id love to have had a P3 this past season and she looks to be what
I was hoping for from ATKong...

Momma Kong had 2 things going for her,which Is why im working her.
Yield and Bag appeal yet lacked Nose and head at the levels I like.

Everything else I have and work with has great Head/nose/taste yet have lackluster yields.
P3 infused with the head/taste/nose of F13
should show whether or not AT Kong can absorb a flavor-head heavy
hitter and thus have something to call worthy...

Dare I say P3 looks to be BB dom Kong ....


So yeah.... Wow,this show has a lot for me to chew on...
Vast amounts of 411 here bro...
Cant wait for the smoke reports.... Though again,lol,this is the one
strain I have that I am not expecting exceptional head/flavor from.

She carried the yielding nicely and her bag appeal look on par so
anything else is bonus in my book...

Yo Dog. Thanks again for the chance to test out these genetics. They definitely could have gone a little longer, but I had some schedule issues and needed to take them down.

After curing for a few weeks now, I have started sampling the buds this week. #3 is the one for me.

I will post dry bud pics and smoke reports this weekend.

These pics show the best 3 phenos I harvested. The other pheno (#1 above) did not finish well enough to be trimmed, etc. and she went straight into the hash pile. The pics below are in order... #2, #3, #4, and the last pic shows the broken up buds used for the smoke report.

All of the buds look really nice with #2 and #3 looking a bit better than #4. #2 is considerably denser than #3 or #4, and #3 is bit frostier than #2 or #4. #2 probably looks best.

Aromas and flavors
#2 is a very earthy kush profile. There are hints of coffee, pine, and rubber in the nose.
#3 is a lighter indica profile with a slightly sweet lemon skunk aroma and somewhat minty flavor.
#4 is more of a grape candy smell with a sweet piney skunk flavor.

#3 is more of a daytime smoke and burns really well. I have been reaching for that one more than the other 2 this week. I'm going to combine all of them for an oil run next weekend though since I hardly smoke any more these days.

They sure look nice, great report!! Hydro seems the way to go with this strain. I just did a test but in soilless and my buds turned out way more orange but good none the less.

Thanks crazy_eagle! I have been doing a drip setup in coco for the last few runs and it works great. I have gone back and forth between recirculating and DTW, but I have always used Botanicare ReadyGro Aeration Mix and Floranova Bloom. Every strain I have tried does really well as long as I give them a couple weeks to root after transplant before starting the multi-feeds. I recommend it to anybody who asks.
