In that case the seeds I got weren't blubonic.
let me tell you the story from start to end and given the fact that the guy I bought them off has a terrible rep (I've since discovered) for substituting bunk for breeders seeds. I was in touch with Chimera about getting some seeds by pm on another forum.I had grown his gear in the past which I got from doc.chronic iirc.As he had just sent a bunch of seed to the shop/guy/forum and he was also in Europe he recommended I get the seed from this dude.I looked at his site and he had some SOL seeds priced really cheap.I ordered some chimera and some SOL seeds. In the meantime after taking my money the dude got in contact saying he had priced the seeds wrong on the site, but he would honour my purchase and let me have them for the published price..I was happy, until the package arrived. There were two baggies with handwriiten labels saying chimera and spice of life.I went mad and emailed them and also chimera, and tried contacting SOL to say they were being misrepresented.I wasn't able to get a response from steve/SOL but chimera got in touch and said he was unhappy if his seeds were being sold out of his packaging, and he would contact the seller...I got an email from the seller saying some BS about him being out of the office and a 'new packer' who had been left unsupervised had been taking the seeds out of the breeder packs and repacking them 'stealth',swearing blind the seeds I had been sent were legit but that he would replace them in the breeder packs.I recognised and was totally happy with the chimera packet as I recognised it but I was most suspicious about the blubonic/SOL 'packaging' because it wasn't as I recognised it with the shiny baggy, seed catalogue and matchbox, all sealed and with a big sticker with the sol logo and 'spice of life seeds'.... I am now sure that I received no SOL seeds at all and only got the chimera seeds because of his intervention. |

I usually veg 4-6 weeks in 1 gal pots, then into 3 gal for finish. I'm sure the 1 gal pots are causing the rootbound/ autoflower results. Will probably go straight from 18 oz solocups after sprouting, to 3 gal., for future grows. Not every Blubon plant I've grown has shown the autoflower tendency even in 1 gal, but most have. Still a great plant and I will certainly run some of the F2s I've made when I can.

Been running Blubon for several grows and has a potent but comfortable high. Most have a pleasant blueberry smell with a hint of grapefruit occasionally. Very hardy, mostly trouble free plants aside from the autoflower thing, which may be preventable with upsized pots.

Those f2 seeds look great, your flowers look mighty fine also. Too bad every pack doesn't come with a 9 female 1 stud male ratio! I've had samples and the blubonic flavor is really a crowd pleaser, some berry but in our case very grapefruity. Excellent job bro.

Yeah sometimes you just get too many roosters in the hen house, but then sometimes get lucky with that one golden boy! The male used to make the f2s was a real stud. Wish I had kept some pollen from that one.
