ST4IBL mini grow report

This isn't going to be one of those day-by-day photo documented reports, sorry. In fact, I only took a few pix with a crappy cell phone camera. But I thought it'd be worth posting anyway, just to add to the knowledge.

I grew 4 plants, 3 female and 1 male. Outdoors in pots, FFOF/Happy Frog mix, fed with Big Bloom, occasional molasses, and Epsom Salts about 3 times over the season.

I found 3 fairly distinct phenotypes among the females.

The first, I just called "Grapefruit", because that's what it smelled like.

The second I named "Orange". It had an orange soda/gumdrop smell and seemed slightly stretchier than the other two.

The 3rd I called "Purple". This one had purple streaks on the stems and petioles pretty much as soon as it sprouted. Leaves were slightly fatter than the other two, and the branches had a sort of bracket attachment to the main stalk. Smelled piney/hashy with ripe blueberries.

All 3 were great plants, vigorous and happy, and wound up covered with crystals. Yield was good, and trimming very easy.

I must say, I was a little disapointed with the aroma of the cured buds. They smelled so delicious during flowering, but lost a lot when dried. Purple still had a nice grapey/berry aroma, and Orange was still noticeably orange-y, but the smell did fade quite a bit. I had 2 other strains, grown and cured under the exact same conditions, that stayed super aromatic after curing, so I don't feel like the loss was due to anything I did or didn't do.

The high of all 3 was quite enjoyable. I think Orange was my favorite. Purple was a bit more relaxing, but all 3 were smiley, and all about the good times-reminded me of good old SOTF himself, where ever he is.
