Post Delta-9 Beta Test: Star of Kandahar or *Super Star x Afghani Kandahar Landrace*

Howdy ICmag! Im here to post a growlog on a new cross, bred by Ed over at Delta-9!

Ed was kind enough (and trusting) to allow me to run a limited test run of these seeds to document. Very excited!

This is what im working with:
Custom Built Cab - 30" Wide x 17" Deep x 44" High
Flower: 150w HPS Vertical + 65w 4U CFL
Vegetative: 65w 4U CFL
100 CFM S&P Inline Fan
8" Phresh Filter

Parents Used:

MALE - Afghani Kandahar Landrace
- 100% Indica (Landrace)
- Tall & Robust, Pure Landrace, from the Kandahar Province of Afghanistan.
- In Afghanistan, the Indica plant has climatized over the centuries, produces copious amounts of golden glands.
- Cannabis indica ‘Afghan’ naturally tolerate dry, sandy, free-draining soils.

Sorry, I have no pictures of the father BUT!!!
This video shows how amazing these types of plants look
Walking through Weed Fields in *Panjwai, Kandahar, Afghanistan

FEMALE - Super Star = Sensi Star (female) x Sensi Star (male)
- 70% Indica & 30% Sativa
- 8 - 8 1/2 Weeks Flower (~60 days) - "56 days with the best refined pheno"
- Her name comes from the amount of crystals she produces.
- The "Star" lines DO NOT REQUIRE TOO MUCH FOOD!

More photos are attached to the post... All Super Star

It should be noted that this seed line is still being worked and we may discover a couple different phenos.

Veggin out brah!

Suffered an attach from some critters.

Was able to save these, other plants didn't make it.

These should be critter free now and will get up potted when funds allow for more pots and soil.

Thinking about TRYING coco, tho i dont want to have to start messing with ph so i might just stick with what i know.

we'll see.

Thanks G0vnaa - i cant wait either!

------------

Hey Guys,

I have been struggling with my veg area, haven't had the money to get a larger light (2 x 26w cfl from aerogarden).

These have been rootbound in solo cups which i found out is really really bad for them, mainly because the cups don't drain...so after i water them, the roots just sit in the h2o.

Take a look and let me know any suggestions.

Transplanted them today into FFHF with added perlite. They were moved into Aurora Innovations - Root Pots

I'm using the 1 gallon size with the tops folded down a bit.

They were both a bit dry when i repotted them, so thats why the leaves are so droopy (esp on #2).

Put them into the flower room today, Ed - How much stretch should i expect during flip?

Pics in the next post.....

Nice strain. Coco nutrients don't require any ph adjusting. most are buffered to come out at 6.0 when you use the amount as per directions.
