Lets start with what hits you first, the smell. Walking into the same room as the baggie containing roughly a 1/2oz, the stench immediately permeates every pore on your body.

Instantly, strong notes of OG kush are present followed by soft and muted peppermint candy, only to finish of as a butter/cream nasal coating goodness. (Reminds me a lot of the Golden Triangle)
The mix of these smells are intoxicating to say the least, even before packing it up.

I always like to reach for the bubbler when testing out buds for the first time, and the Apex got no special treatment.

The hit was instantly expansive, I felt the raw power down in my toes as the potency streamed through my head and ran down my back. My eyes fell low and I tried desperately to relax and catch my breath.

The smoke felt cool in my lungs, reminiscent of my menthol smoking days as a beach bum 16 yr old, the taste was of fine kush, hash, and creme.

I don't think anyone will be seeing any of this bud around here. This one, stays home.

I blasted the trim.

I know I know. It wasn't the bud, but... I must say this is some of the most fire wax I've ever smoked. Zero expansion. All the Kush flavor you could ask for. And a REALLY NICE lifted high.
