BKGK = Pre-98 Bubba Kush clone x DJ Short Grape Krush

This hybrid was made by an ICmag legend, Retardo Motabon. These seeds were donated the server fund and some given away as freebies in late 2008, I believe.

ICmag member, Phillthy, ran a pack of these seeds and ended up with 3 amazing phenos, but after much debate, settled on what was then pheno/plant #1, simply called BKGK now. Phillthy grew the plant for several cycles, always running her 9 weeks, until one cycle he found himself out if town, and was "forced" to let her go 10 weeks. To his surprise, what was once fairly heavily purple, had continued to an entirely purple, nearly black plant, and a much more pronounced grapey flavor. Not candy grape - but floral, concord grape flower, grape...a truly unique specimen.

Easy to grow, no fuss, solid dense flowers, heavy, gritty, sand-like resin coverage, moderate yields - and great potency: relaxing muscle / joint relief, with a kind head effect that allows stress to float away - have made this plant a true keeper. Did I mention she purples - no temperature variations needed - a true genetic response. Perhaps, the best true fully purple I have ever encountered.

I still hold my original BKGK seeds; never sprouted them with this beautiful lady already having been found!
