Ah right so it is ok to have the scrubber outside tent blowing? Because i got told its bad for the filter? Yea that's what I want buddy two intake fans but cant afford any at the moment!!! Thanks for all the help buddy

What kinds of yields are you guys getting on dialed 600w hydro setups? I'm thinking of doing a 600w run and am curious how the yields compare to one 1k.

A lot of variables...but... I usually hit about 13-14 zips in a 4X4
under my 600 watter
Its been years since Ive used a 1000 watter!!

Can I join the club? I have a 600watt hps rockin a blazer 8 inch air cooled hood and a lumatek digital ballast. It is sitting indside a 5 x 9 Gorilla on one side.. I had an abrupt change of plans mid execution, and will not be lighting the entire tent until next year.. As far as what to expect as far as harvest?.. I can get around 225 grams from a 250w hps.. in 4 sq ft... and only 3 feet of vertical space with one plant..(scrog) but I dont know what I can do with this 600.. first time using a higher wattage bulb. But if I can get anything like .85 - .9 gpw I will be very happy... I am used to growing with a cooltube and pretty much growing buds around the entire glass tube... The plants were so huge ans stuffed inside that old NGB cab that it looked silly.. Ahh the good ole days...I started the first "club" ever on overgrow.. it was the "250 Watt Club" , now mind you this was the ORIGINAL club, as many subsequent clubs sprung up everywhere shortly thereafter.. I just know it was my idea first! lol MUH CLUBS!!! :p

i'd say 400watter would be better, but if you have good fan and cooltube then even 600watter would fit. it wont be easy and much is depending on temperature of your intake air.


I've got 600watter in 1m x 1m tent. Flo gro hydro and Canna nutes.

pussitee thanks! but so far I figured that asking question like that is like to ask the ex of your gf, how is she in bed...and does she give good head...

so, I tried it today at a friend and it's no problem... and just a heads up, we tried both cooltube and standard reflector(barebulb) and guess what: at 60cm from canopy, cool tube had 10-12% less lumen and barebulb was hotter just by 2°C...so do the math.. if I would go with this setup def bare bulb...so I went on a little forumchecking... and decided to just do vert when we hung the 600w hps in the same room(70x90x210) in VERT position barebulb, the lumen reading was allover the place(just not directly under the light) and the temps... perfect, just perfect ) so, vert it is!

yea - vert bare bulb rules.... specialy the single 600.....
