Purple Kush V2.0

Greetings and salutations,

So this strain and I have had a tough go at it. I bought two packs six months ago. Vegged them to three feet a piece. Loved the stature. Thick stemmed and squat with big broad leaves. Enter root aphids which just decimated my entire veg room. Plants stopped growing and were killed. Took me months to determine they were aphids.
Just bought another pack. Looking for a gorilla grape pheno. Have searched high and low through the forums looking for some visual documentation of this strain. I have found nothing. I have now spent 300$ on this strain and am hoping someone can show me some pictures.
d420 do have have pictures of the parents, or progeny?
Cheers.

Hey man, I've run this strain . . . my results were what I would call fairly common for more purple strains. The resulting weed didn't have a strong odor, but I did like the odor. The darkest pheno had an early/coffee aroma . . .

Here are some shots of the dried buds . . . let me know if I can answer questions about the plants during veg/flower!

Purple Kush V2.0 bud shots:

I apologize that I don't have any pics of the plants in flower . . . she stayed pretty squat but did stretch a bit. I used LST rather than topping and have no complaints, she seemed to respond quite well. I fed her aerated organic teas with high P Jamaican Bat Guano, fish emulsion, sea kelp, and molasses with excellent results. 100% organic in soil . . . . the taste was excellent. Not my favorite smoke, but not bad.

Didn't keep a mother, thought about running Cannaventure's Purple Berry BX, but decided on the Jazz Berry Jam instead for now.

Etin, thanks for the thoughts and experience share! Those are sexy looKing ladies. Was the green pheno more potent than the rest?

Hey man!

No, actually. The Purple pheno held it's own in the potency category. The purp pheno did have an odor that was a little more subdued, however.

Thanks for the kind words man!
