Screen Name on Order Envelope for return addy. - Seedbay - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I was just reading on Reefermans Site that they have alot of return orders due to a Fictitious name being used on the envelope for a return addy. Is this gonna be a issue we are gonna have to deal with here also? Just wondering cause I just recently sent my payment for my SD IBL seeds @ 160.00 and just don't want to loose it because of something like this. I have always just put my screen name on the return addy.

Any answers would be appreciated.

It all depends on your mail man. On the inside of my box my mail man wrote the last names of people that could get mai mine and some the oher people that lived here . At the last place i lived the wouldn't put any mail in the mail box that came that didnt have the last name.. Also at my friends house house the mail man wont put anything at all in the box that does not have a matching last name.

My last name is not Resident and I still get that crap in my mailbox!

Hope this isn't what happened to my order sent in full on 07-25-06.... that would suck.... but be better than the customs catching it I guess.. just worried but keeping the faith in it arriving no problems......

Ken, think you are in the wrong place (this is the Seedbay forum)....if you mailed a payment on 7-25-06 well, Seedbay wasn't up until 7-31, so you must be referring to a SeedBoutique order?

There is a post in the SeedBoutique forum which advises you how to go about making an order inquiry on that site.

As to the question of addressing, packages get returned marked 'Undeliverable As Addressed', and/or 'Name not Known' so it appears that in some places in the world mail isn't delivered if the recipient name isn't 'known' to belong to that address by the postal delivery person.

cool DG I have inquired with SB just looking for some friendly advice and support while I wait...... Getting sent to a safe addy so I am not listed as a resident..... Thanks for the rapid response...

I have never heard of them actually checking the names on the return addy. can you imagine the amount of work involved?

I have heard of fake return addys bringing heat to certain things.. but long as its a real, existing address, and the name isnt Aalias McBaller, you should be fine..
