Smoked out of bong the first time in 1975. Took a bong load be for posting this. 38 years later still my favorite way. The only difference is its glass, stem carb and a home made difuser....rw

Made my first bong with bamboo in the islands circa '71. Used a barnacle shell for the bowl, a short thin piece for the down stem, a large one for the big tube.

Still toking a glass one nowadays when I can!

Glass is a superior material to bamboo in my opinion...easier to keep clean.

My lungs just don't like doing bong hits. The first time I smoked out of a bong with a one hit bowl I coughed my ass off and couldn't even pull the hit through. I own a half dozen bongs. The old lady will only smoke out of the bong. I smoke with her but I am a 3 hitter quittter. By the third hit I am hacking up a lung. I had a bad coughing bout last night to the point I could taste bile in the back of my throat. Some of it is caused from her bong. Its a small flask glass bong. The smoke is just on you in an instant. I have a PHx bong with a percolator in the middle of the bong with a diffuser stem. That one is more gentle on my lungs. Its a pain in the ass to clean.

A nice thin non-glue paper and I am a happy camper.

That's all I smoke from. I have a new bong I use...but I still have my original Toker II that I purchased in 1974. I've been thru a few glass stems, but the base is the original.
I don't toke out of it anymore, as you can see why from the pic. It's pretty nasty-looking & lord knows what's growing in the bottom.

Ya I cant do big hits anymore. I was a heavy smoker when I was young. I could smoke 1/2oz in a day no problem. When I stopped smoking to focus on my carrier I could never get back to what I use to smoke. I get so baked now it can be uncomfortable if I use more then I know I can handle now..

JBD outlawed and damn the euro makers with glass on glass when the stem bit was the way to go to clean and drag the residual smoke, since without that way I hardly ever smoke it after it being a costant. Suggest me some brands and links pls
