When I graduated high-school in '73, I, as most people that age are, was so optimistic and positive we all had a great future. After all, man had walked on the moon in '69, people had fought and died for civil rights, an imperialistic war was ending because the people understood how wrong it was, and we were entering the "Age of Aquarius."

Whoa, wuh hoppened? 40 years later and most stuff is worse! Greatest generation my ass. They were the first generation ever to leave Mother Earth in worse shape than they inherited it. Not only that, they ensured future destructive actions with their laws and policies they put in place. We do have better com with the internet etc. But overall policies have been either ignored or are in put place so that anyone who even uses the internet at all puts themselves in jeopardy.

I am not at all alone in wondering where the benefits are and what kind of end-game some of this shit presents with all this zero sum gaming that modern society has become.

I say just use weed and thank god we will ALWAYS have that, and NOBODY can screw that all up. Can't happen. OVERGROW THE PLANET ( or OTP is my acronym for the day)

Hatched in '49 but didn't make it to the Acapulco gold rush 'til '66.

My first joint was mailed to me from a buddy in 'Nam. Just stuck in an envelope with a letter.

Something tells me that wouldn't go over too well now.

1962 here. I remember Beatles lunchboxes and going on my sister's dates. She's 14 years older then me.

She was the accident!

Toked for the first time in 77.
