Killer Queen Redux & Chemdog IBL - Organic Grow
DGS gifted me with KQRs and it's time to see what they can do. I also have a pack of Rez CD IBLs, which I am going to run concurrently. I am going to have 3 phases to this grow in order to find one keeper of each.
Phase 1: 5 KQRs and 5 CD IBLs will be grown out in cups until I can snip off two clones from each plant. Next, I will switch the plants in the cups to 12/12 and determine sex. I will then cull the plants in the cups and the male clones as well. I'll be using FF Ocean Forest mixed with Perlite, Lime, and EWC for these. Phase 2: During this phase I will transplant the clones into #3 Smart Pots using the above soil mix, with an addition of Bone meal, Blood meal, and Kelp extract. Then I'll veg them under a 400MH, and take more clones. After vegging for 4+ weeks, I'll flip them to 12/12 under a 600w EYE Hortilux HPS and wait until harvest. Phase 3: After harvesting, I'm going to dry and cure then find a keeper of each strain. Then I'm going to grow four each, for a total of 8 keepers. As for my clones, I keep them under a small CFL, and if they get too big, I take more cuts from those clones and rinse and repeat. This allows me to flower as much as I like, all while keeping clones. This way I do not have to worry about them getting too big/root bound while allowing my current grow to finish. You can check out this process (minus the flowering from seed) in my C99 grow in my signature. I will post for information regarding my grow space since I am currently setting up my room...I took it down while I went on vacation. For now, you can visit my previous C99 Grow: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=187153 Or you can also view my previous grows/pictures below: I'll post an update once they break ground (in a few days). Please feel free to post any questions/comments. Thanks again DG!

Awesome hashit! I followed your Mosca F1 thread and you got some skills. I recently tried five KQR in the summer heat and managed to kill all five. I'll be trying the other five soon as the temps come down. Today it's mid 90's, Monday it's supposed to be upper 60's. Much more to my liking.
Good growing to ya. |

5/5 KQRs and 4/5 CD IBL's broke ground today...I'm going to give them a bit of Liquid Karma and OregonismXL after the cotyledons open up all the way.

All 5/5 KQR's are currently growing strong and healthy...they're definitely outgrowing the CD's. I'm currently watering them using 1/4 tap, 3/4 RO water w/Liquid Karma and Oregonism XL about once a week. And the pH? Well, I don't ever check for pH..thanks Organics! I will post up a pic or two later today...
