this is helpful! On March 28, ill pop my just arrived 1st pack of BBDust for April 25 th planting. From the pics it looks like im in for a real ride.
Because of hunters, i hope i can harvest her by mid oct at 36N. Anybody with a guess? I wonder if the pics represent the plants optimum size potential for outdoor growth over a full season with full sun/good soil. Do those plants represent a full season grow Quiet Riot? |

Hmm, yeah, more or less, I would say. At your lat. they could yield much better, these were grown way above your lat.
I put one BD seed in a 3-5L pot in start of april I think, can't really remember, hehe! Then had her inside for a while, placing her outside whenever the weather was good, and finally transplanting to mother earth in start of june, if I remember correctly. Maybe she could have gotten bigger if I had planted her in the ground earlier, I didn't, because I wasn't sure if she was a she (: But the vigor was with her, grew consistent and rather fast, and I didn't top or anything, just let her grow until very late oct/start of nov. She stayed almost as low as some others with a fair amount of sativa in them, that got topped, snipped and bitten by some animals... There's some veg pictures in this thread: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=3104285 You will want to harvest when the moon is right, especially if rain/humidity is a concern, the buds get quite big, and leafy in this climate, but big and somewhat dense. I chopped her at fullmoon, not fully knowing the effects of the fullmoon, some buds molded while drying, because she was full of water... Keep room temps fairly warm, fan blowing indirectly on buds, ect ect. I like that she kept a low profile, and made that nice crown of terminal buds, I reckon you could get BD up to tree-size, but I really don't know, some tend to keep low, and not grow over a certain height. I had a Hindu Kush x Bubblegum cross some years ago, and they got much bigger 7-9 feet, but they got a month extra veg, so some of it may be in the veg time, logically enough.

Heya marv
I would average, maybe below average mold resistance, but I'm not at all sure. It was only when the buds had gotten big and the climate became rainy, humid ect, that it began to mold. So maybe it's over average, if you can keep it out of the rain under some sort of roof, because this got some or maybe even, a lot of rain... I don't know if I'll be doing BD outdoors again... It was the some of the best outdo I've tried, but it was also slower than others more used to this lat. And she sure grew pretty and nice, no problem with her, other than the late mold.

Yes Quiet riot , i understand exactly what do you said for the late mold problem (living in 45° lat) and BD a little too exotic for this lat. or if you can protect them of the humidity the last 4 weeks or earlier if you could.
Which is the height of this beautiful purp plant ?

Precisely, it would be great to have them in movable pots or beds, in well aerated greenhouses, I would guess... or on a covered patio yes.
I did not have the opportunity to weigh the bute, but a guess is 50, maybe even 75? There was a lot of bud, and leaf.

Oh, didn't see you asked for height, I saw weight, hehe.. Well, she was a good 1,4 meters I think, give/take... The OG Bubblegum is short and somewhat non-stretchy too, so I guess BD wont get that tall either.
