Um to answer your question, I think you can use GH Florashield as a substitute.

I did order some floraKleen the other day with some carbo load. I have Sub-culture but that obviously didn't work to prevent crap. I have a few other questions...
What is the easiest way to clean and sterilize my res? Do I have to sterilize everything in the irrigation system? I assume so, so what is the best way to do so? |

Yea assuming you have no plants growing, you can sterilize the hydro system by adding just a little antibacterial dish soap to your res. Run the hydroponic system as normal for about an hour or so, then rinse the system several times with fresh water.
Instead of dish soap, I recommend a cleaning agent specialized for hydroponics like Bio Green Clean https://www.horticulturesource.com/bi...2-case--p1418/

Can you provide a link Google was not helpful.
Also how do I get rid of all the tiny pieces of root? I have been rinsing but they eep popping up as I sift the hydroton? I have been at it for a while now and I still have root tips coming up. I am looking into getting hygrozyme, but this stuff is really expensive, and like I said I am tight right now |
