dropping temps, during last of flower

I remember a thread on the old A.N. forum, that was about dropping temps, in the last weeks.I'd forgotten all about it.Can anyone remember the temp., and week schedule, so I don't screw it up?I've had a heater going, keeping it at 60 degrees, during lights off.I can drop it to about 40 degrees, iff'n I want to, but that sounds to severe.I am just about to start my flush, for 10-14 days.

I have also heard that dropping the night ambient air temps to about (50-55 degrees F)the last few weeks, and raising the light as well, both help the plant to finish properly and with nicer quality nuggs because it simulates a plants natural life cycle kicks in hormones that tell the plant to finish completely because the season is changing. Something of that nature, sorry for the ramble...

From what I understand the cold night temps at the end of the cycle, help with resin production, bring out color and help with density. I drop my temps for the last 2 weeks, but living in a hot climate, the coldest it gets in my room is about 64F.

As the poster said above me...It will bring out colors I've noticed buds will also get denser with lower temps, but too cold will slow growths, I got some great pure purple plants though with cold temps, no green...anyways PeaCeeee~!

You need the temps to be 20 degrees cooler than your day temps in order to see color changes and the plants to finish up nice.
