Late Summer Back Yard - Purple Kush, White Widow, AK-47

Hey all

I started off the spring with a guerrilla grow of Rose Bud, Deep Chunk / Strawberry Cough, and Purple Kush. Delicious strains, and the rose bud was a personal drought resistant strain in development. Unfortunately the deers got to them, followed by the pests, followed by the East Bay Conservation Corps. Basically it was my first out door and i was sloppy, careless, and ran a poor guerrilla grow. That was a complete loss...very depressing

I just got a new place with a backyard however. I am a medical patient here in the east bay and this grow will be CA legal. However, i don't want to arouse any attention at all...so i will try and grow other plants to hide the MJ. The backyard is very bare and brown right now, but hopefully that will all change in the upcoming week

I started these plants - 3 White Widow, 3 Purple Kush, 6 AK-47 on august 23rd from clones. I know it's late but hopefully ill be able to yield decently from them...here in the bay we have extremely sunny and hot indian summers...with first rains usually arriving the first week of november. The white widows will go on until probably the mid to end of november...but if it gets too wet i can bring them indoors to finish in my closet

Here are my plans for the garden:

From left to right: Unknown Salvia cuttings from my friends yard which grow super tall and MJ like, rock wool cubes with Rivea Corymbosa, Peruvian Torch, and Sinuichichi seeds germinating. The two on the right are E. Coca seeds hopefully germinating.

My bare herb garden in it's current (and temporary) state. The girls are in 5 gal pots with Organic Moonshine Mix. In the foreground you see Wild Dagga, Rosemary, and Lavender just starting out. Also notice the three trenches which will be lined with hardware cloth (damn gophers) and turned into herb gardens on tuesday when the hydro shops open up

week old little girls loving the sunny CA skies

The white widow is thriving in this indian summer heat

My veggie garden before being born

Will update soon with garden transformation pics

nice job inverse...im gonna keep an eye on this one.

Peruvian torch from seed? keep us updated on that too....i hear the cactii from seeds are usually more potent but i don't have the patience to wait that long haha.

i recently chopped one of my peruvian torches to try with an acid base extraction (my buddy had a ton of san pedro cuttings)....didn't work out so well...a lot of time/effort/money gone. anyways good luck bro.

Loving the strain choices my friend! AK-47 and White Widow have a home with a solid foundation in my garden. Looks like a lot of care will go into this operation, a late harvest is better than nothing, I'll be watching anxiously for the next update! Good luck with this run.

Big update today...lots of pics

Morning glory which should take to my back fence with vigor...

Wild Dagga growing big and ready to explode with orange blooms

This coral brugmansia should put out pink, wonderfully scented flowers once it grows

little baby peruvian torch

Heres a Cielo (Yellow) Banisteriopsis Caapi rooted plant i just recieved in the mail trying to acclimate to my semi arid desert like valley. I hope she pulls through!

And finally what you've been waiting for...

the yard as it is now (still sorta barren...the seedlings can't grow fast enough to hide my mj :()

The purple kush is already quite dense. She smells of overripe mangos / fruit. Lovely little nuggs, but shes quite short:

Here we have a white widow with a special friend on her leaf . Her buds smell faintly of citrus...quite distinguishable as white widow by smell alone

another angle:

up close buddage. Shes the slowest to frost...will be growing weeks after my others have been cut...good thing shes mold/mildew resistant

Here we have an ak-47...which also smells like delicious fruit right now. medium height...some of the ak's are still quite puny. should be dank smoke...my indoor grown ak as my first grow was dank and i screwed up on her.

So far no need for nutrients added...i doubt i will need to add nutrients at all for the growth cycle...my soil was quite loaded with organic goodies to start with...

i will be adding molases (sp?) in a couple weeks

The rain has come, and hopefully gone. My little plants are bulking up. I'd say the ak's and pk's have 2.5 to 3 weeks left to go, and i think the white widow wont be done for another 4-5 weeks, maybe more. that should be interesting, lol

Since my plants are not of impressive stature, these are bud shots to give you an idea of their quality

AK-47:

Purple Kush:

White Widow...still really skinny with the buds, but like 3 times taller than everything else:

garden after rain:

papaver:

Hey man, lookin good!! I'm growing a PurpleKushXHaze cross, the grower I got it from calls it BlueCottonCandy or PurpleHaze.. My plant also stayed short and has a bit of an over-ripened fruit smell, but more like a PurpleHaze(Grape-scented) Blunt or like cotton-candy/fruit.. My plant is super frosty and turning some great bright purple/bluish colors!! She smells so good but she started budding late for some reason so she's finishing real late for my area (43N)

yeah, that over-ripened fruit smell is the purple kush in the cross...mine smells so delightful, not really like weed at all. That smell will actually change once you cut it/cure it into a less fruity/sweet aroma. You got any pics of your plant? it sounds great
