Thanks beancounter! There were no nanners as of mid sept besides the ones on the male sage chunk! 5 seeds have been recovered so far from his pollination at the other plots!

Thanks ash! Guess I shouldn't have had the plots so close together as they were compromised altogether.....
This powerhouse is some good stuff! Spicy flavor and pallet tone, very hashy with a bit of a mild sweet flavor.... Still drying....

Congrats pipeline. They look very, very nice.
Sorry about the other plots. It's a damn long road to the end outdoors and shit happens. |

Thanks ash and tarzanofTHC! Losing plants is part of growing in the outdoors, still makes ya sad to see them go and its hard.... I'll be scouting some new plots here soon, and I have a friend who can grow the seedlings to a foot or 2 before I put them out in the woods next year... Hopefully that will allow them to get taller which would improve their sun exposure and therefore hopefully get a better yield.... Just a small jar left now.... until next season....
![]() Sorry it took so long to make this, the big powerhouse head took like 3 weeks to dry and had a bit of mold... I just got to her and her sisters' best heads this week... Had 4 powerhouse make it this year... All had some purple hues/variegation... Beautiful looking plants with a very branchy structure, all the way up! Smoke on the powerhouse is very enjoyable in effect, very much a satisfaction type, indica stone.... Not really foggy though, she's fairly clear and enlightening rather than a couch locker.... ![]() She's not cured, but flavor is still obvious! Flavor is hashy/spicy with a bit of sweet/floral in exhale. Smell is similar to taste, spicy/hashy with a "sharp" tone similar to citrus but not quite.... She's got the densest flowers of all the plant hybrids this year! This gal was the earliest looking in maturity with the largest flowers in late sept....There was just a little mold, very little before harvest. the few little bad bits were removed and didn't amount to much. Most of the mold happened during drying because there was no air circulation... Maybe this year I'll dry a little differently... Sorry I took so long to update, here's a few harvest views.... Purple is Powerhouse ![]() (Including that big head!) ![]() ![]() Powerhouse flowers without pigmentation, only 1 plant had dark flowers.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Great job Pipe! Well deserved harvest. I had put two plants in a woods this year for an experiment which the final yeild was about 10 grams each not bad for plants that are 99.9% hidden, but I know if I had them in a sunnier location they would have easily had a few oz's on them.

Alright, guess its about harvest time! Went out and checked on the plots I thought had been lost, and all plants were still there! And harvestable!!!! Very little mold, minimal! Buds smooke with perfect flavor still... Definately a mature effect.... Dusty looking with amber trichomes.... Ahhh, just right.... The mountain cure.... Check it out!
Sorry guys, I didn't separate them as I harvested... It was still ultra ninja mode, but lets just say everything has been fantastic smoke so far!!! Received many comments already.... ![]() Harvested January 16, 2008 No drying required! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's insane. did you have to dig them out of any snow? In your opinion did it effect taste or potency. Because I know of lots of spots I can plant in spring its just hard to get to them at harvest because of the hunters. If I could go harvest in January I could hop on the sled and hack em down with no worries
