* Originally 3rd was awarded to King Hassan (Moroccan, from the King himself) by Big A, but after I re-added the scores row by row --there was a mistake. A score difference of 0.2 enough to change the standings. All parties have been contacted and there is no problem. Sorry for the human error. I take full responsibility and blame.
All other rows have been gone through also and that was the ONLY error.

Thanks for the results!

Holy Crap!

This must have been a fair friggin fight---a lot of unkowns won. At least unknown to me---Cool.

Will we be seeing a complete list of all the entries along with thier scores ....that would be cool
As I was hanging with some of the judges over the weekend I must say the generosity of them to share the entries with us non judgeing common folk was outstanding. I was a judge for the last 2 Canibus cups ... without a doubt the quality of the weed from the IC cup was head and sholders above the cannibus cup ... I think I tasted at least 15 of the 40 entries and all but 3 where extrordinary, tasty well grown and FLUSHED grown with love so to speak....grown by growers with pride as apposed to the CC Cup where it seems selling the coffee shop and production weed is the most important thing. Its very refreshing to have this cup about the weed
I must comment on the judges of this cup as well .....with 40 entries and only a few days to judge a very difficult task , what I saw was dedication and extreme effort to make a fair and accurate judgement
My 2 cents oops euro cents

Second Place: Sativa - Slam Shady for Super Silver Haze
that's the most common stuff i run into in the bay area..

i talked to an outdoor grower yesterday for about an hour, at one point he pulled out a two pound bag of SSH and gave me a nice little bud. he was from southern cal but visiting for the holiday, and i must say that the outdoor SSH from this man beat the pants off anything i've ever gotten from the indoor SSH growers.

makes me wonder if mr. shady's entry was grown from a california medical dispensary clone..
that would be quite an upset.

that SSH cut available at the berkeley san pablo club is some fine smoke.
i grew it indoors in soil and had great results, but it does yield a little on the low side...

Sour Bubble?

Sour Bubble?

Yes, it was well known in the competition and it didn't win. :(

But, it was great and made great impressions. I believe it did come very close to placing in a tie for 4th. :) We will let St. Teflon review the scores however as that was a preliminary report I was given.

I told you that if she didn't win she would be remembered and I was right. I heard some talking about her and one comment I overheard was, "the Sour Bubble...? we coughed our guts out!"

I agree that it is very expansive so maybe next year I will enter 2 others just for kicks. A very fine contest indeed!!! :) BOG

You'd have done better if there was an award for densist bud.

I thouroughly enjoyed my hit of sour bubble.
however cause of the size limit  you'll have to wait a while.

Well I was surprised sour bubble was not in the top 3. I loved the sample of sour bubble we got and there was no mistaking it.

Had there been a competition for the tightest nugs in town it would have won hands down!! I have never ever seen nugs as tight as those.

Every judge I talked to agreed that those were some tight powerful nugs.

Thanks to you both...

Thanks to you both...

I was very pleased by how well it was recieved by so many. Luckily I sent extra so I had samples to demo. ;)

TrichomeFarmers bubblehash was more potent than any in the contest as evidenced by Smokey Da Puffmaster passing out after a big hit of it. I found one hit of the WW bubblehash he had to be the strongest toke in town. NO SHIT! :) Kudoes to you Tri!!!

Minister, your review was also very appreciative of my Sour Bubble and it was definately the tightest indica bud in the contest but density wasn't one of the criteria for the contest. Bonguru said, "it was the only one that went clink." Like a rock they are and I had everyone at least squeeze the Charmin at least once. ;)

What fun it was. Pics coming soon. My new camera is my souvenier of this trip so expect some real fine pics from me in the future. Most of my trip pics are from my old cam but I have already pretty much figured out my new Nikon 4300 which we got 3 of at a price of 349 euros. :D The new model too...

Love, BOG
