4-5 five gllon pots per 1k is enough, seen them flipped to 12/12 @ 14 to 18 inches in height, undergrowth trimmed with a solid veg using hygrozyme and good standard pHed nutes

the right strain...

*saves on your overhead with lower...

I use a digi 600 ballast & a sunmaster mH bulb to veg.....works for me, especially the temps.

T5's I only use to clone..but I grow trees so they wouldnt work for me in proper...

I get 1.5-1.75 consistently...I grow trees under horizontal / parabolic hoods...yes multiple hoods so def not a one light show. I could veg a certain strain I had for 45-50 days and a bit of cropping...
