I have roots in 5-7 days in a wick & perlite cloner. Same plants took 2 weeks with a bubble cloner. Tried peat pucks, they took 2-3 weeks before roots broke through.

Yes and No, depends on you're skills/experience. If you have reason to stay with a 600, it will do great, if you can cool a 1000, go with that, there isn't a big cost difference.
