you would need to build an intake/exhaust box.... not sure a gennie inside the garage is safe, with the toxic killer fumes and all. but that aside you would be looking at heat build up in a small area, killer toxic exhaust fumes, and very loud noise that would most certainly transfer through the house. also refueling would be a biotch...
some solutions:
build a sound dampening box thats airtight that will pull intake air from outside. then exhaust the spent toxic air back outside. you would want any of that shit leaking into the house or you may wake up dead.... shit happens all the time, people run a generator inside the garage even with a partially opened garage door...
thanks everyone for the input, i will be running a 3600 watt grow but i will be living on the property. i plan to run a 7200 watt grow but i am going to move from the property in order to save on electricity consumption. anyone think a 7200 watt grow would turn heads at 9.5 cents a kilowatt hour?
I would do some research on here and Google to find the words, grow, marijuana, electricity etc and see if you can find ANY reports of the power company ratting out customers. I would spend a day or two doing this. If you find NOTHING you're probably ok, also try the state forums and see if you can find larger growers on the grid in your area. If you find guys doing bigger grows you're probably gonna be fine.
what about in a major texas city? if one were to run something this high in say dallas, or texas, or even austin?
