Where do you get your seeds sent?

M

Mr.Howie

Howdy everyone. I am about to order some seeds and was wondering where people get them shipped to. Your house? PO Box? Friends house?

Me? To my mailbox at my house, never had a problem with that. BUT, it is absolutely the stupidest thing that I do. I do not recommend you do the same. I also recommend that you tell no one. PO BOX wont really help any, unless its in someone else's name. So I guess you just ran out of options. heh

Best bet is to find someone you REALLY trust that isn't doing anything illegal and have them sent there. Then you have that person already knowing too much, so I guess you know what has to happen to them...:dueling: just kidding, well good luck with the worst part of the process.

And NO, I don't think it's ok to send them to someone's house without telling them. Checking their mail before them every day is so wrong.

I send them to my house addressed to a previous resident. I still get mail addressed to them sometimes and they haven't lived here in 5+ years.

If you buy from the boo or bay with a credit card, they can't do this, so send cash for small orders or international money orders for large orders.

the "tell no one" rule doesn't really work with the "send it to a safe address" rule unless you have two houses.

PM and Ill give you address to have them sent to... jk

Your house, with your name, insures the best chances for delivery.

scope out your neighborhood for houses that noone lives at theres always quite a few around my area where the house is really unkept the yard is overgrown an the mail box is full of stuff. go there and empty the mailbox and put the mail somewhere behind the door in case someone does come home then have your stuff mailed to that address and pick it up from the box. in the unfortunate event someone does return home there you can just knock on the door and ask them if they got any mail for whatever name you gave. tell em you gave them the wrong address you just moved into the area and that you're down the street. be creative theres always an alternative to ordering to your own adress. the people who sell the seeds keep logs of everwhere they sent dont be fooled.

if i can i get them sent to a trusted friend in a name of a previous occupant of their house.

With all due respect, I think sending them to your own residence is stupid...unless you grow elsewhere. Find a trusted friend who has no intentions to grow or other questionable activity, offer him or her some free herbs once you've grown em out...everybody wins.

Didn't the Shmoe bust start from a kid who did not use a safe address? Then he ratted on JS...

my house, my corporate CC...only probs Ive ever had was when I tried some slick shit.

I just want to make sure MY mail gets to ME now.

the Post office may have had a forwarded address filled out for a previous resident or someone who has moved, you never know.

Sometimes to my moms, but more recently to my own home.Ask yourself what is the worst consequence that could happen mailing them to your home? The exact same consequence as if you had them sent to a "safe" address, confiscation. If anything else were true we would know about it

if you live in the usa, the delivery must be to a real address/addressee so if it is your home, i do hope that it is not also your garden spot? especially when it comes to residential mail delivery, the uspo makes a real effort to recognize the face at each address. any of you who have lived in the same house for a number of years will second this. this has always been a general policy of the uspo but their efforts intensified after 9/11. setting up a "safe" addy takes a lot of time and effort these days, if done right. and if not done right, chances are good you will lose your order.

i now believe the best locale to ensure delivery is where you live as long as you do not grow there! with nothing else to go on, a misguided delivery of seeds is not enough for an arrest. keep the home front clean.

I send to my own house, but not to my name. Use the name of a previous tenant/owner, or make one up. Ordering seeds to one's own house (and grow) is dumb and like the poster above, I also don't recommend doing it.

Then I pick em up during the State dinners.

Security has been a little lax there this week. It should get through.

I just have them sent to my elderly neighbors..I steal all their mail anyway. So I get "freebies" all the time I'm waiting, and when the seeds finally come whatever else is in the mailbox is also my freebie - clothes, letters from Johnny fighting over in Korea, free viagra samples.

I'm totally kidding. I don't even smoke drugz :)
