Must have genetics for the new grower...

Looking for advice on what everyone thinks are must have genetics.

I'm assuming either Sour Diesel and NYC Diesel will be named (probably both), and probably AK-47. But what else is out there that the "new guy" should try out?

I'm talking genetics available in seed form only. No sense in posting about that uber rare clone that so and so has that he's been growing for the last 12 years, and the only way to obtain a cutting is to take his family hostage.

Go with some Paradise Seeds Regular beans , like BellaDonna , SweetPurple or DurgaMata , cost about 25-30 $ and is for sure no wasted money and all strains are easy to grow , so a newer grower wont have troubles with it ...

I think I need to clarify what I mean.

I've got a few successful grows under my belt. And a few unsuccessful ones too. And though my current domestic situation prevents me from growing anything at this time (and I will be unable to grow for at least the next 2 years.), I can start a good seed collection. So that's what I'm trying to do. If I knew 10 years ago what I know now (How many times have you said that in your life? ), I definitely would have scored my self some OGKush beans from back then. Know what I mean? Another one is BOG genetics. Luckily, someone has made some f2's of Bogglegum with BOG's permission, so you can be sure I'll be picking up a couple packs of those. (I was lucky enough to score a couple of packs of Lifestar BX1 and BMR during the last rerelease of his stuff on sbay)

So I guess what I'm looking for is the few strains everyone says you have to have in your garden. And if there are a few that stand out, like everyone says to get Sour Diesel or AK47, then I'll throw that on the list of things to get over the next couple of years. (And yes, those two are already "on the list")

I'm hoping that by the time I am ready to start, I'll have 20 something strains to choose from, and can pick and choose my flavor of the month, if you will.

Where can I get it besides Doc? His packages all seem to be getting nabbed in customs. Including one of mine.
And since it appears that Breeder Steve and Gypsy are on the outs, they wont be showing up anytime soon on sbay.

Genetics? Honestly..I'd have to go with the following:

Sour Diesel IBL(rez)
Skunk #1(sam/flying dustchmen)
Original Haze(flying dutchmen)
c99(any generation)
lowryder(not for yield or potency..but just for what it does..which is pretty fucking cool)
ducksfoot(same reason as lowryder, minus the yield & potency part)

Any IBL/Landrace you can get ahold of. Afghani, kush, colombian, etc.
