Is a strain grown outdoors any less potent than the same strain grown indoors?

well, the benefit of indoor growing is beeing able to create the best growing conditions for a plant... but in my opinion.. when an outdoor plant gets the perfect season, and the genes are good.. it can beat an an indoor plant on the power profile.
but as we know.. some varieties are not suitable for outdoors as they are for indoor growing.. so sometimes they make you believe that they kick ass indoor, only cause there isnt a proper outdoor report about that same plant.

The most Potent, psychedelic, long-lasting hallucinogenic high I ever experianced has been off an outdoor plant. The best herb is outdoor, hands down.
It has something to do with it being out in nature, the place it was ment to be in. The trich's swell, and get huge. Around harvest they drip with resin.
Nothing better then weed grown under the halide in the sky.

ive grown both ways for a long while and often have the same strain in jars at the same time. Some grown indoors some grown out, I dont feel that joint per joint bud for bud you can tell any diff in potency . Although there sure is alot more outdoor to smoke. Which lends itself to great bubblehash and lots of other fun. So yea growing outdoors I prolly get alot higher ... but I dont think trich for trich its any stronger.

genetics determine potency....not conditions....conditions effect flavor...and smell

from what I noticed, potency and quality have a lot of factors from environment, food, and cure.
I grow both indoor and outdoor, I grow indoor only strains outdoor and vice versa. What I have determined is that generally indoor plants produce a stronger product - only because the environment is custom tailored. All the trich are preserved on a well cared for indoor plant but outdoor there are too many factord which can damage trichs - wind, rain, insects, rodents, birds, etc.
As long as you cure the plants well - indoor will USUALLY be more potent. Genetics are factor but shouldn't be because we are talking about growing the same pheno inside and out. Besides, all that Mexican brick weed can be grown sick if properly cured - that weed is speed dried (by the sun or wind) and packed - destroying a good amount of trichs

I believe that the best bud is grown outdoors >period<
The high is more clear and intense, the taste is more distinct, and buds aren't gonna get any bigger.
yes, you can make sure that an indoor plant has the conditions that it needs, but i think it is ignorant to say you can do it better than our mother nature

depends on strain and location history, a strian bred outdoors in a greenhouse will do better outdoors, seeds bred indoors for generations will be used to the indoor enviroment and thrive in there.
as for potency, you can have some real potent indoor but if your area is a good one with lots of sun, outdoors will do you a lot better than indoors ever will.

Common sense should tell you a natural plant grows better outside in nature then under a light bulb. I always thought indoor growing was for people who can't grow outside for one reason or the other. I think it depends where you grow outside as to how potent it gets, maybe outdoor from Iceland is weak but my mountain grown tropical Sativa stops the clock its so potent.

first, i'll admit, hydro can put out fatter buds, but i've smoked plenty of hydro from different growers of the same strains that have been passed around by clone and i'd rather have the outdoor bud of the same strains, ANYDAY....
i withdraw my previous statement and put forth this one,
the high from outdoor is more clear and the taste is more intense than any indoor i have ever smoked
