PBC F2's

Thought I would share some pics of some F2's. The strain is my own cross, I call it PBC. It's Blazer x [Pink Salad x Unknown from BC]. The unknown plant from BC is La Musa crossed with an unknown strain from BC.

So these are the F2's I started, I plan on taking it to F3.

First up is a groupshot from the end of August, I had nine seeds in total. Some of them are crammed into one pot. The goal was just to select the best male and female from a small selection. The two future parents were actually from the same pot, I then later removed the male and put him in his own container to shed pollen outdoors.

The next shot is of the future daddy and mommy and finally two shots of the future mommy from today. It's fun to play around with your own seeds and continue and trying to improve the line :tiphat:

Small update

Small update

Some shots from today, she has grown a lot in just 6 days... Some of the upper leaves have changed colour, I've seen this before and I think it's from the LED light (too close).... Not 100 % sure though, but always happens when the plants get a bit too tall for the small cab. Any input/if other people have experienced this with LED's would be useful to know. I have brutally "half-broken" the top of the plants to keep the height down and to allow for the light to access the sidebranching better. Edit: The plant is just over one month old today, pics:

Here is the single F2 mommy that I kept, have a few F3 seeds on her. I have really botched and neglected this grow, after "halfbreaking" the top to keep the height down, I snapped the whole damn main cola off about two weeks ago when I lifted her out of the cabinet, and she has not been well tendered at all. Messed up a lot of things so she ain't as pretty as she should be :moon:

Here are two pics from today, about three weeks left I think. Putting on some resin and girth now at least, but the problems with this grow are evident. I think first she was overfed and then underfed, shame on me...

About a week to go, shame on me for snapping the main cola, lousy yield :moon:

But at least she smells like hashy strawberries :peacock:

Thank you scarhole, I think she looks kinda ugly at the moment, sucking up all the nitrogen but I guess that's good towards the end. Sadly she was treated very poorly, would have looked nicer with better conditions I reckon. But the buds look and smell delicious and I guess that's what counts :)
