usually when a demo turns ugly, its because the pigs turned it ugly deliberately--good tv fodder. Ive witnessed the deliberate provocation of a riot in Nottingham, i think it was 98-the reclaim the streets demo, all nice and peaceful-we blocked up mansfield rd down near parliament st, then they started moving us up, and eventually on to the forest rec ground/goose fair site. all peaceful, sitting on the grass, one pig van and 6 pigs at the top of the field watching. a lad started swinging on the goalposts-something you could do all day any other time, the pigs walked halfway across the field, went and wrestled with him-his mates backed him up-it all kicked off and with 30 seconds the whole of the lower portion of the field was surrounded by vans and cars., shipped in from all over the shop--they planned for trouble, and when no trouble came as the event was dying down-they started some, simple as.

I bust my arse for years in horrible stressful jobs, i worked hard, i kissed the correct arses and now im in a well paid, fairly easy job. It wouldnt have happened if i had stayed at home all day being a fucking hippy. Sorry but it pisses me off, iv got friends who are into this 99%er bullshit, they just sit around feeling sorry for themselves, hoping the world will "cut them a break". It aint going to happen i tell them, if you want to live comfortably in this expensive country you have to actually DO something to earn some dough. If you're moaning about the 1% chances are you're just super, duper jelly. Money doesn't buy happiness anyway, so why do they care? If you want to live as a penniless fool then so be it but dont moan about the people who actually work hard and want to get on in life!
