3 strains going presently from seed. Sour Sage, Glass Slipper and Mammoth. 19 of the 21 seeds have germinated and are now in peat starter pellets. Quite a few are coming out already in day 2 in the dome. Pretty happy with them so far. They're only getting water pH'd to 5.5 and on an 18/6 light schedule.More to come as they grow.

Cotyledons are out of the peat on 15 0f the 19 seeds. So far 4 Sour Sage, 5 Glass Slipper and 6 Mammoth.

10/23/2014

A few of the Sour Sage wilted, so I popped the top of the dome to take look. I was surprised to see that pretty big tap roots were already showing on quite a few and they were looking for water. Quickly transplanted the ones with tap roots showing into Cyco Coco Pearl that was soaked in H2O that was pH'd to 5.5-5.6.

10/24/2014

All but 3 showing tap roots this morning. Transferred them to pre-soaked coco. Will check on them later today.

Noticed water droplets forming on the cotyledons, causing some droopage. Cleaned them off and took off all 3 domes. Now have a small fan circulating air over them, hopefully this will strengthen them get the roots growing.

Nice looking seedlings bro! It's always nice to have different variety of strains! But for my first grow I decided to keep both plants the same strain, just one from seed and the other a clone.

Looking about the same today. Been periodically spraying them with H20 to help them transition from the dome to outside of it.May start adding some Roots Excellurator in the next day or 2. Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Heard some good things.

Roots Excelurator Started Today

Roots Excelurator Started Today

Sour Sage seems to be starting to stretch, they're at about 3" this morning, the others around 2". Decided to get some House & Garden Roots Excelurator. Gave them a drink today diluted to 4 drops/liter. We'll see how it goes. WTG in Denver raved about the stuff. The only other product I've heard any of them talk about like that was Canna Boost, and since that actually did wonders for my last run I'll trust them. When there's a significant change I'll post more pics.

Leaves Starting to Grow

Leaves Starting to Grow

10/29/2014

Starting to form some decent first leaves today. Sour Sage are the biggest so far, followed by Glass Slipper. Mammoth seem to be slow starters. Added Roots Excelurator 2 days ago, can't tell if it's making a difference just yet.

Gonna get some cold cuts today! Get some cold cuts, get some cold cuts...

Looking good bro. I have one seedling going but it's seems to have stalled. Haven't used any root nutes just planted in ff happy frog and using only h2o and that has worked for me before

Coming Along

Coming Along

Do having some mixed results so far. A few of the Sour Sage are pretty tall, one was leaning badly this morning, had to prop it back up with some coco. Too much water maybe. Stems are still really thin on all of them, not sure if that's the norm or what. A few have some leaves that are looking a little sketchy, tips are curling and few look burnt. Stopped the Roots Execlurator for now, back to just plain H2O. Someone told me the leaf problems might be pH being too low, so drifted it up from 5.5 to 6.0. New leaves are looking normal, so maybe that did the trick. We'll see.

RP Genetics

RP Genetics

Hey nonstop, thanks for stopping by. All strains are from Reserva Privada, some say that RP is the American counterpart to DNA Genetics, not sure on that though. Here's how they break down:

Glass Slipper = Cinderella99 Mom x LA Confidential Dad
55% Indica 45% Sativa
Mammoth = SnoCap Mom x LA Confidential Dad
75% Indica 25% Sativa
Sour Sage = S.A.G.E Mom x Sour Diesel Dad
90% Sativa 10% Indica

All have great potential for fire!!! I've seen the Glass Slipper look like it was straight covered in sugar! Trichome heaven.

Some Decent Progress

Some Decent Progress

Apologies for the poor picture quality on previous posts, old iPhone cameras leave much to be desired. This and any new pics will be better. They all seem to be doing better since cutting out the Roots Excelurator and just using H2O pH'd to 6.0. Still plan to use it once they're established enough to benefit from it though. Gaining some height, especially the Sour Sage in the back, and healthy leaves are beginning to show. Feeling pretty optimistic now since this is my first run from seed. Lots to learn and enjoying the process.

Good Growth, New Leaves Coming In

Good Growth, New Leaves Coming In

11/16/2014

My little girls are growing! They all seem to be much more thirsty this past week, especially the Sour Sage. 2 of them are reaching for the lights. The top of the coco has been drying a lot faster than before. Glass Slippers seem to be pretty consistent height-wise, while the Mammoths are still taking their time. No worries, enjoying the learning process. All are still on just H2O pH'd at 6.0, no nutes. I've heard it's best to wait until the cotyledons turn yellow and fall off and they're more established before giving them anything. Anyway, have a look and let me know what you think. Really appreciate all of the expertise and experience here at IC. Happy growing!

The girls seem to be doing pretty well. Still just giving the H20. I'm curious as to what our expert growers think so far. Are they progressing normally or am I missing something? No real frame of reference since this is my first run from seed.

That Sour Sage sounds like it could score some SERIOUS yielders with a good fuely funkness smell to them! :)
