Yeh that dream lotus looks real nice IDE like to grow that at some point! I'm just setting up my next grows of which I'll be growing blues/livers,blue meanie and marks blues in 1 tent and the cheese cuts in the other tent! Killer dream lotus any thoughts on her?

I've run about 7 of the pack of 11 I got.... I got 4 females and saw 2 distinct phenos. The one you see pictured, through out, and another pheno that was very very indica leaning. buds were MASSIVE, but lacked a pleasent smell and high... It was still decent but nothing to write home about.

I had 3 that looked like that indica and only one like this. but my god it's the best smelling bud I've ever had. if you like the smell of blueberry, and the taste of sweet bud with a really nice, long lasting head high... that's the pheno I'd recommend.

by the way, the yield on all the dream lotus phenos were amazing.

my last dream lotus looked small, I was kinda upset that it was only gonna yield 2-3 oz's because I had to chop early... nope got 5.5 oz.

TL;DR: sativa leaning pheno of Dream Lotus is in-fucking-credible.

that's the Dinafem Cheese. I believe it was a freebie. kinda pissed I didn't save a clone. most freebies that I get that are fem I usually pop and don't keep.

Wow very nice colour to her bet she tastes sublime, 12 weeks I didn't realise they went that long! I don't usually go for anything that goes past 10 usually as a rule! My friend on another forum has just kindly offered to send me a pack of bodhi green lotus as I've been posting about being on the lookout but can't find em! In return for a keeper cut of course lol but I have no probs with that I've sent to the US a few times, anyway cheerz for the pics..

honestly, that was a bit on the longer than I'd like and, I was out of town at the time for about 3-4 days. so really it's closer to an 11 weeker... I believe chopping at 10 weeks gives you just as good of an end product than chopping at 11.5-12 weeks. I think that extra week or two just helped with bag appeal (color).

that's awesome! I'd do that for sure. everything I've grown from bodhi has been incredible.... sometimes you just have to find them, and that's part of the fun in it all.

That green crack x snow lotus looked really yummy. I've smoked some green crack, I love the look of those neon green buds.... Sadly I have no information I can give you on bodhi's cross.

Also, just to be clear, it's Dream Lotus, not the Blue Lotus. I believe they are 2 different strains. I could be mistaken though.

quick little update... The RKU smelled awful in veg to early flower... now that one that's a month deep is smelling like blueberry spice.... its quite nice

This RKU is looking really nice... I'm starting to see some faint purpling on the older ones buds... can never complain about that! Also, these LED's have been working great.... the plants are reaching for the light, more so than my 1k HPS... not gonna pass any final judgement yet, it's far too early, but I am liking this LED stuff.

So, a little update...

The RKU that was 6 weeks deep started throwing nanners, so I chopped her/him/it about a 5 days ago. I am unsure if the nanners are genetic - like some have reported - or if it was due to me stressing it (few timer problems). I have the mother plant(see blow) in flower right now in a different room that's had no problems, so that should be the true test if it was just stress.

I trimmed tonight and had come across a few seeds, nothing huge (I hope).

first thoughts while trimming: I found a 7 week dream lotus. buds look and smell absolutely identical to my 11 week dream lotus.

The RKU Mom @week 6:

The growth of this plant looks different -almost no foxtailing- than the clone I just harvest above. I don't know if that's because of stress, or if it's just because this plant is SUBSTANTIALLY larger than the clone... either way, I went over it pretty good tonight, and I am confident I didn't see any nanners... so that's a plus!

hey Bud! Sorry, I've kinda shifted most of my focus on to my general garden post found Here.

but just for you, and anyone else who comes across this!

I harvested both plants, The clone taken from the bigger plant had hermied due to stress. I am fairly certain it was light stress. It wasn't a bad hermie, I harvested with minimal seeds. I got a little over 100g's from the plant. It wasn't a huge yield but honestly, it ended up being a lot more than I had thought (1.5-2oz) small, but dense nugs.

the bigger plant is still drying, but it should all be relative except no signs of hermie on that. The yield was NOT what I had thought... that big plant only produced about 4oz (the clone was probably 1/4 the size and got 100g). Admittedly, there were way too many new variables to blame that on the strain. In fact, I'm fairly certain under my HPS, and better soil mixture (deviated a bit from my norm) I would have got much better yield results.

2 week cure lightly hermied RKU smoke report:

Smell(8.5/10): Like my Dream Lotus, very berry smelling.
Taste(5/10): ass, it's not cured yet, but it's going to be sweet... staying neutral until final product.
Density(9/10): very dense. small buds got that sound like you dropped a rock. lol.
High(10/10): mind melter, hardcore creeper... lets just say I have been smoking some white widow shatter for about 2 weeks now, because I had run out of bud... 1 hit of this RKU got me more blazed than that shatter. It's good shit. Really intense head high at first, and then mellows into a nice head and body high.
