I was the other day picking some beech seeds while picking up mushroom.
I will try next spring to germinate them.

Can you identify this one Harry ? A couple of them are now are now growing in the grounds for the first time , starts as a phallic shape :biggrin:
I have a book on fungi particularly edibles but find it very difficult to identify them myself .
I have quite a few Puffballs showing so there will be Bacon & Mushroom fry :woohoo:

Looks a Macrolepiota Procera.Called in spanish Parasol/umbrella.
In basque Galanperna,Usually found in grass patches.

Can be eaten but you have to wait till the cap is fully open;you eat just the cup.
