Greenhouse's 'Thai'

So I have been vegging these two Thais indoors under T5's for about 4 weeks now. I just put them in my GH where they are under a 400w MH yesterday. I plan on vegging them for 2 or 3 more weeks then transplant and flower them outdoors.

They look pretty broad leafed for a Thai, and also short and compact.

I think a lot of breeders landrace strains are just that in name, in reality they cross them with an indica to make them suitable for indoor growers, which is how most people grow.

They did cross it with a laos indica to stabilize it since pure thais in that region tend to be hermies. It's 20 percent indica and 80 percent sativa.

I just started some greenhouse thai/super skunk beans myself. They are almost 5 years old.I started 2 in the paper towel method and they both sprouted, they are in the soil now, waiting on them to get going good so i can flower and see what sex they are im hoping 1 is a girl,at least :)then clone her for some more girls and plant them outdoors, and hopefully they will flower before frost here,i also plan to put 1-2 in a box and flower indoors, just to have a little taste before the big harvest.
How about some more pics as they grow up some more????

imo you're gonna have a hard time growing the thai if you have a short growing window. They flower for around 15-18 weeks. Hopefully you can pull it off.

Cool handle and avatar, I have fond and not so fond memories seeing both in bay many times growing up, Jello freakin rocked with a big middle finger, well enough of that......
....I love folks whom are willing to try sativa , I have plans with some locals, on getting some nice long flowering exotics in our greenhouses which besides light dep hoopas that's all we work with, greenhouses and hoopas, although I'm thinking a long summer outddor run is in store for this year.
I wish you a happy and bountiful year and may your thai grow beyond the clouds, bearing heavy fruits of beauty!!!

Alright so I unfortunately lost those two due to my dogs fucking with them. I have two atm. One is barely alive as I think I didn't hard it off long enough. The other one is flourishing and is almost two feet tall. I have been hardening it off for a week and plan to do so for one more before transplanting outdoors. I hope to harvest around October-early November.

I just transplanted the Thai to ground today. Used FFOF and also some verm to help store in some moisture when it gets really hot in the summer.

Well I started LSTing the main stem a few weeks ago,had the string to tight and it got partially cut. Used tape to mend it gonna remove the tape in 2 weeks or so.Also ran into a deficiency but I have since corrected it. Started LSTing most of the branches a few days ago. Should start to flower mid august-early September.

Kennedy,

If Greenhouse's Thai is the same as Sam the Skunkman's Thai x Skunk, then it can be very good. It was the strongest weed I have smoked in about 10 years. I smoked someone's else's weed about 2 hours after smoking 3 hits of Thai Skunk, and I did not feel one bit of difference in my high. That was a fun day.

First Thai

Here's a Thai I've been real patient with. 7' tall and it has a zillion little buds. These photos are taken Oct. 19. Seems to be behaving like it's supposed to. Weird that all the buds seem identical in size and they all started exactly the same time. Unfortunately, the images aren't the best.
Here's what I've done so far:
80% Fox Farms 20% worm casings
20 gal pot
Topped twice
General Organics Biothrive Veg then Bloom
Used a 50% dose of MOAB since flowering started.
Gets about 6 hours full sun
1.5 gallons dechlorinated tap water usually every 2 to 3 days
Coastal hills in So Cal

Been a hobby grower since 73' but this is the first time I've attempted to do my best and first time for Thai. This thing is pretty big so I'm clueless as to how much I'll end up with since there are so many little buds. I couldn't count them.

A month later and I'm only going to use rain water from here on out. I saved 25 gallons from the first rain we had in 6 months. It's like gold here in So Cal. Most fan leaves are gone and she's covered in a zillion calyxes. weird looking plant for sure.

Since were going for a clear up high here, should I harvest when most trichomes are still clear? knowing this plant, I might not see any amber trichomes till 2015.

Well it snowed here on New years (super rare for this part of socal) so I decided to start harvesting her on the the 3rd . She was flowering for 17-18 weeks.

I also made some bubble hash with the trim (half gallon mason jar worth). This Thai yielded a lot of hash given the amount of trim I used. The high is really different then with a Indica strain. Much more psychoactive. I love it!
