Training plants with string (some kind of rigging?)

PTS

Hey there fellow Cannabis growers :>

I've started using a lot of string / yarn to train plants (really just tying stuff down) but the whole process seems a little inefficient. I don't really know exactly what I'm looking for but I think it's some kind of rigging system maybe? Basically I'm looking for little components that will allow me to tie stuff up without tying a knot and adjust the length of the string (something like the little plastic slider thing on bag straps).

Hopefully this makes sense to someone and hopefully there's some kind of solution

Many thanks for reading

The green roll of plant tie is much easier to use then string... and as previously mentioned trellis/screen is best.. they also sell plant yoyos to...

Many thanks guys.
I had considered the use of netting before, is going to take little more effort than what I had in mind but I guess it will be better in the long run since I'll be able to do more with it (creating a "screen" of leaf to maximise photosynthesis / light usage).
Could either of you point me in the direction of a thread re: training with a net? Only if anything comes to mind, am going to check search.
Thanks again

came here to say what dansbuds said basically.

except I'd just drill holes around the top of the bucket/container and loop the pipe cleaner through that. just one less thing to buy if you don't have it already layin around.

(ninja edit) are you talking about zip ties or those plastic adjustment straps on backpacks and such?

But yeah, zip ties are your friend too. The pipe cleaners rock for actually holding limbs because of they are soft.

someone mentioned that plant twine stuff. It works really well, but the manufacturer made it green so it can't be seen... which does NOT come in handy when you are trying to harvest and you think you have undone all of the ties you made. which is why a lot people like bright colored pipe cleaner.

I never saw such a easy looking Method (and cheap) like this one with Metallwire, cause you can progressively Train them every Day Abit:
