Who has had real Kauai Electric

B

Bob Green

Chimera said he is putting this in his new crosses. He has a new fem line called Hawaiian Spice. Pollen doner was the BC Sweet Skunk clone.

Any of you guys heard of the cut he has?

The supakaui story is the one I heard in the 70's on Oahu. I got some cloning now from a old grower on Kauai via Surfout. Aloha DB

Hawaiian Spice - any of you guys heard of the cut Chimera has?

What has Chimera said? Has anyone grown and recommended Chimera's Hawaiian Spice?

PS> Laos / SE Asian seeds - any recommendations for commercially available seeds for indoor growing. I like Chimera's Highland Mexican. I assume Hawaiian Spice is a similar concept to Highland Mexican- Hawaiian outdoor strain crossed to a tried and true Skunk hybrid.

This is off subject, but I've been seeing exterior Puna Cookies (puna butter x forum cookies) in dispensaries in the bay area lol. Nothing like the BI stuff where it comes from though!

Never had the electric... I love the molokai frost, blood, wowie, puna, kona, etc. Everything is so fuego in da 808 because of the climate and level of expertise.

Kauai Electrics was breed on the North Shore of Kauai and grown exclusively by one grower called "jonesy". Its is a fast flowering strain with an amazing sativa head rush. A terpine profile of lemon-lime sprite with that old school skunk backend and tropical hints of guava and passionfruit.

It was only grown along powerline trail directly above my childhood home until the early 90's. After hurricane Iniki the breeder passed a few cuts of this legend to some local growers my dad being one of them as "jonsey's house was destroyed and he ended up moving to Maui for a short period of time.

Since then multiple large scale mountain grows have become a thing of the past as green harvest has one by one set up stings on these grows going as far as watching more then 3,000 plants being cultivated in the mountains of Wailua and watching the local family secretly to create a case against them. The Kauai Electrics is a very rare strain and only grown in a couple legal medical gardens of some old timers.

I am currently in the process of working on some f2 seeds of kauai electrics. You can view the flowers on my instagram "supakauai" if you wish you learn more I will be launching a website 808genetics.com where you can learn more about all your favorite island strains.

Any timeframe on this venture?

Is that what Chim used in his Hawaiian Spice?? I hope so, I got it. Looks like an outdoor NL x haze to me.

Supposed to taste like Mangoes... Typical description for Hawaiian but go figure... I'm sure it is something nice.

Nothing definitive on the Hawaiian side of the hybrid only thing from him is "Kawaii Electric / Blood" was crossed to Sweet Skunk. He posted a couple pictures but they were not very helpful in determining anything other than it does look sativa.
