A couple of the ChemDD's showed their roots out of the bottom of the rockwool cubes! It took 10 days to see roots! It feels good knowing I got the ChemDD back in action! Great things to come...

OMG! I just finally got a phone call and the person who had my cuts gave them to this person who they don't talk to anymore and they ended up calling me. Long story short, they have all my cuts including, KK StarDawg, Pootie Tang, The White, Motorbreath#6, Mass Electric and whatever else! I'm in heaven right now!

when you get back on your feet will you be doing anymore seeds ?

That's going to be one of the first things that I do. Pretty sure I'm going to cross everything that I have to some male ChemdogBX2's and some male Chemdog Sour Diese as well as some 4SD males. All from Rez's stock. I'll feel much better once I do this so I can protect my future.

Well I was wrong. They said that they lost KK StarDawg. I'm not too mad about that because Pootie Tang (StarDawg#6) was almost identical to her but Pootie Tang has bigger branches and more yield. I'm sure I'll find the KK StarDawg again one day. I'd never be able to get Pootie Tang back so I'm thankful that they still have her. Here's some old pics of KK StarDawg from my grow earlier this year:

When Pootie Tang and KK StarDawg are growing side by side, they look identical in plant structure and development but there are differences in the cured bud. Here's a comparison picture between KK StarDawg on the left and Pootie Tang on the right. The samples both had a 4 month cure:

She was my favorite smoke! The person who lost it harvested a nice outdoor crop of her. I'm going to try and get some of those flowers to smoke. The KK StarDawg was much harder to clone than other cuttings that I've had. Pootie Tang cloned very easy. Till we meet again KK.

Dehumidification
I've never used a dehumidifier in any of my past grows but I know I'm going to need to deal with this issue. There were times were my rH levels during the last 2 weeks of flower were too high and I don't need any problems. I know the mini split AC's will help a lot during lights on but I need to find some other options. I'd consider doing some air dumps at lights off and exhaust that humid air outside. I added this link on some dehumidifiers that some IC members seem to suggest:

If any of you have any opinions on the subject, please feel free to speak.

Im not sure how the weather is in your area, but a friend of mine does fine with exhausting air during lights off, and he uses two swamp coolers

we just exhaust during lights off.. the entire time..

when temps drop to low.. we end up sometimes using veg room exhaust.. into the flower room at lights off to get the temps up.. works fine..

this year since i partnered with 2 med patients to do a single grow at there place.. we used 5200btu acs.. in the windows.. 1 room 2000w .. other 3000w.. and still kept temps under 82 with lights on . only a single AC in each room.. crazy. air cooled for summer.. still hit over 1.5 per light so i call that a win.

6 of the cuttings have rooted so far! They were 5 x BYTCH (ChemDD) and 1 Illuminati / Nag Champa Kush. It's been 13 days since I put them in RW cubes. Again the cuttings came to me in bad shape and there were 24 of them 13 days ago. Now there are 15 cuttings left and 6 plants which is a total of 21 potential plants. So I lost 3 cuttings so far and I may lose a few more. I always use the best cuttings for MOMs and label them with a "*" so no one ever gets confused. I like to use the ones that root first and are the healthiest for MOMs. One of the pre98 Bubba Kush's looks real good even though roots haven't poked through the cubes. I also have 1 Chem Valley Kush that looks real good as well. The other CVK and pre98 Bubba's look bad so I'm happy I have 1 of each that is looking perfect to use for MOMs when the roots finally poke through. I'd expect to see some more roots within the next few days for the others. I have the cuttings in a propagator tray and dome on top of a cable box in a small closet. Only about a week to go until the big move! Once all these roots, we are going to give them a few days to veg and then get to the new farm! This is going to be exciting!

Synpe you can/could build a three sided shelter with a roof for the outside condenser (leave the side the fan blows out open, or if it gets too cold turn it around so it blows against a wall to bounce the heat back to the unit so it stays thawed). I have done this, and even when it's very cold the unit will keep on working ;). Also you may want to look into friedrich brand mini's. They have some models that work at low temps, and I can attest to the brand's quality of construction. As for dehumidifiers, santa-fe and phoenix make the best you can buy, except no substitute :tiphat:. All that said looking forward to the show .

I've been trying to come up with some ideas for the bigger grow so I have a plan. When I added up how much veg time that I would need for 1 plant per light, I would only get around 3 crops per year. I don't really like that math. I'm trying my best to only do 2 weeks veg in the flowering room and 66 days of flowering. So that would give me roughly 80 days time spent in the big room. So I'd be able to pull 4 crops and still have plenty of other time left out of the 365 days in a year for potential mistakes and harvest time. Harvest time should only be a couple of days now though because I'm testing a satellite and twister trimmer. We can hang up the best tops to be hand trimmed dry but the majority of the flowers will have to be machine trimmed. No one will know about this grow in person this time.

I'm going to think backwards. I'm thinking that with 1 plant per light and 16 lights, I'd have to have at least a 36" bush before the flip to flower. I think I can get at least 16" of growth in 2 weeks in the big room. So that will be Veg-C. So I would want the plants to be 20" bushes when then enter Veg-C.

Veg-B would be in another smaller veg room. In this room I would probably have 2 of my 10 bucket RDWC systems under 4,000 watts. They would go into the room at about 8-10" and they would have to grow to 20" bushes before they enter VEG-C in the bigger room under 16,000 watts. I'd start them in VEG-C under 4 x 600 watts at first and let them get used to the light and RDWC system. I'd be super cropping them along the way. I'd say they would be in this room for about 2.5 weeks to get to 20" bushes from the VEG-A system.

I'm well versed in my VEG-A system and techniques and it would take no longer than 10 days to finish VEG-A from rooted clone.

That's about 42 days or 6 weeks for the plants to VEG to hopefully reach at least 36" bushes before the flip.

I've been going back and forth with so many ideas but this one seems like the one that I'm looking for. I'm trying to find the best strategy to keep my plant count below 99 with no issues. So even though I'll 16 plants in flower, I'll still have to have another 16 plants in VEG for the next crop. That's 32 plants. Then I need my moms of various types which would be around 20. Which leaves another 40 plants that I could have for testing seeds to find new MOMs. Just putting my plans here so I can go back and read it again because I'll probably have 10 other plans in my head but this might be my best one.

Sounds like a good plan. I could see sqeezing 5 a year turning out to be pretty tough, so i think you are on the right path. Good luck and im looking forward to the show

3 is better then 1.5 crops a year with snypette . Let me know when you grow up enough to learn REAL math.

what if she meets someone or a group of people that want to know what she does in life ? and what if she likes them more then being isolated alone with money and plants.

No.
