do i need to cure before extracting hash?

Hi all,
Im completely a newbie when it comes to growing and extracting...
i was doing a lot of reading and now im growing my first couple of plants...its going on ok till now...
i wanted to know something...
do i need to cure and dry my harvest before extracting hash oil(using alcohol) or making alcohol or glycerin tinctures... or i can just decarboxylate using the oven??
im not planning to smoke the weed directly...

I have a similar question and can't figure out how to get someone to answer. I want to know if I have to dry and trim my buds before making hash with hash bags? If you figure out anything could you let me know

HASH can be done fresh off the plant or dried and cured. Some people like it better one way or the other. Works best to at least pop it in the freezer before making bubble tho. I'd chop it up into fine pieces for maximum surface contact. Kinda hard to do that wet.

You can use fresh because it's a the same. The cure basically removes water molecules from thca I believe turning it psychoactive. But the same will happen when you cure your hash. I could be totally wrong but that's my guess. Dry is necessary. Cured isn't.

Curing is only important with flowers. Curing degrades chlorophyll which allows the flower to express it's beautiful tastes and smells. With Hash there is no chlorophyll.

I grind then dry my bud in the freezer in a cardboard box...ISO gets put in the deep-freeze as well...after at least 24 hours you are ready to process the bud...freezing allows the trich to be stripped off, but the chlorophyll stays in the plant material...strain it, filter it, and cook it off outside....hth

can be made with fresh frozen or so called LIVE extract. or dried fresh frozen.. or dried and cured.. or just dried..

u can do it anyway you would like.. just different consistencies.. and a few diff steps. lol . keep reading.
