Sorry bbb i might of said about "how good good company is ,breaks the monotony of being "physically" alone on another thread!
NO REAL prob!.. you've done 3 days and remember that YOU HAVE,each time ya feel like a swig go out side an' get some fresh air dont sit and ponder..ffs,worst thing ya can do..
you need association.. like for me when i go out the back into my [little gdn] i always head for the wooden swingy chair i have and always have a Cigarette whilst going back n forth slightly.. neighbours would smell ganja in an instant..
Enjoy the beer tonight which i bet you would with the abscence at first then slowly you;d regret having any ayh back to the same old **** i'd say,start again asap beating ya 3 days..try doing a week
this is How i deal with alcohol.. but again my incentive is to get back driving again.

Well Billy tomorrow is a new day.So don't sweat it.. You could look around to catch a meeting some place. It may help with feeling lonely. I have never bin to one but there is good people that run them from what I hear.

no that 1 is for the people who treated beer like a gf and abused her so much that they cant look her in the eye anymore i have more respect for those guys then i do for people who treat there other 1/2 like beer.

the picture trick works with more then with just beer . i dont think OP has the personality type that is effected by me dissing the people being offended by the picture trick . i might be wrong though .

thanks for the support guys but i think if i ever found myself at an AA meeting i would rope up soon after. i need to be in control of this and thats all there is to it. i heard some incouraging words from a movie i caught a bit of. "progress,not perfection" thats the only thing that helps. i fuckin hate myself.

Ive NEVER been to an AA meeting and ive stressed that in earlier pages of this thread
I know the effect on me would work in reverse of what thats meant to be about
I dont want to know about others storys tbh (here is different! all in ya own time here..!!)
ya Open mouth n drink! simple as,to have emotion around ya etc. NO GOOD for sure if i went id be FAR worse off than when i left...

AA can be a real help for those that use it. If ya just say it isn't going to work and don't find out, it's a done deal. No, if you don't try it it surely won't help.

It has worked for literally millions. It also hasn't worked for millions of folks too stubborn to try it... and for some that have

^ Yea Deffo.I found "When" [ ] i was Growing/producing weed there was Significantly less pressure on me because i loved the Whole production Process and all the Great/exciting Possibilities you can achieve with Breeding-Selfing that apart from the "practical"(which was alot of my Activity) must of been 80% of what i thought about..Countering any thoughts on booze tbh-to a BIG DEGREE..
A real empty feeling is left when thats taken away from you,but ya gotta look at the big Picture! Im moving asap so i try (all down to my speed) to occupy myself with Repair/Modifications to the house as much as possible

I thought that mentioning AA could stir up some controversy. But It would help with creating positive relationships with others that don't drink.
Drinking can lead to a lonely place. I know people that have bin involved with AA for 30+ years and other Non drinkers that are not down with AA. Its just an option.

Drinking or not Drinking is a lifestyle choice.

Well, I was lucky enough to find a group of others who can't stand groups...and still muddled through it.

You'd be surprised how many drunks are natural born boat rockers and group haters. Might be part of the makeup of MOST drunks

I Hav'nt been drunk for years (quite ineffective on me! ..weird lol,but no,a tolerance i expect)

I went to AA once.Im sorry but I dont subscribe to the idea that praying to GOD.
Is gonna help.
