lumatek 400v 600w ballasts?

Don't philips endorse the maxibright 400v ballast to use with their bulbs?
I think I remember wazzup talking about them, I might be wrong.

hi maybe a silly question but do they put out any more heat than a standard 600w bulb powered by a mag/digital ballast?

There is no more heat generated off the bulb but the ballast gets very warm on the super lumen setting
