the usa government has refused to seal off the southern border. cold fact.
the us government has refused to ban international air travel from ebola hot zones. this is a refusal to limit air travel from a hot zone. we could still send in help with this kind of air travel ban from the hot zone but i've already heard several times in the last few days cdc stating that a ban from the hot zones would in some unexplained way prevent flights into hot zones to help the striken areas.

answer: by ground they will be dead before they get here.
now ( 2 months later) the cdc (center for disease control) is admitting what they knew all along; ebola can be transmitted thru sneezes, etc. thru the air. ebola has been around for a long time. the us actually has a patent on ebola. the only reason to hold a patent on a disease is to make money off the vaccines and treatments.
1). the us gubmint has recently changed the long standing medically based cdc international travel quarantine regulations. two links provided in previous post.
2). the us gubmint holds the patent on ebola.
3). the us gubmint has refused to seal off the mexican border.
4). the us gubmint has refused to enact a travel ban from ebola hot zones with the ludicrous allegation that a ban from would limit air travel into the hot zones.
4). while the cdc wears respirators telling the health care workers not to worry about airborne ebola transmissions the truth is cdc is now admitting what they knew when they put on their respirators; ebola is transmitted thru the air. the health care workers were wearing hazard gear that did not include respirators and when they contracted the ebola disease they blamed it on the mal-informed health care workers themselves who were only wearing ineffective face guaze type protection.

Shit I am a US citizen and I cannot disagree with him. How did I manage to isolate myself from these idiots that seem to fear everything before the internet. Do I really want to survive the apocolypse only to crawl out and find myself surrounded by paranoid heavily armed cowards that may well be wondering if I might not be a zombie.
When a disease can compete with tobacco deaths then it might get my attention. Until then I remain care free

Have we forgotten bird, swine, and sars so fast? Im not trying downplay the disease as it is serious for those affected, but we got to have a level head.
If its going to be as deadly as some people think what are you really going to do to prevent it? Shutdown all travel everywhere? People are very creative and will find other modes of travel when desperate. Send out drones to bomb the cornflake rafts people build? Hell they cant keep safe in the biohazard suits.
Mother nature knows how to correct issues in the world very effectively. All your doing is trying to prevent the inevitable. She sure as hell doesn't care about your party affiliation either.
You can call me sheeple if makes you feel better. If you really think any political party is going to save you than good for you! but I'll reference my second sentence here again.

Population out of control is what's caused this mess. It's what has sullied the environment and exacerbated all the problems we see in the world today. From the beginning of time until 1950 to get to 3 billion people. 50 years later, that number stood at 6 billion. Now it's over 7 billion, and rising rapidly. And who is having all these babies? Third world countries, poor people who can least afford to feed clothe or shelter those they bring into the world, let alone educate them. Billions of people making less than $2 a day. Poverty begets poverty. And these billions become refugees, clogging up and overwhelming other countries who have the sense not to have 7 children per female, as is the case in Africa, and all Muslim countries. Should we sit back and say, "oh well, nothing we can do about it?" No!!!!
Overpopulation is problem #1. Our gutless leaders don't even mention it in public, but it is talked about behind closed doors. Why should we help those who would destroy us, whether by will or by ignorance? They don't give it a second thought when they are popping out babies, one after another, babies who are born into nothing, into sub-human conditions.
My proposal is economic incentives for third world females to stop @ 2 children. Voluntary sterilization would get them credits for food and education for their two children. Only through education can the cycle of poverty be broken, and that's not going to happen until we get the population under control.
Since we have a President whose goal it is to destroy America and make it part of the third world/globalization, corporate control of everything while he joins the 1 % at our expense, there is no chance of him doing anything to solve the problem. He doesn't represent us, nor does he give a rat's ass about us. He is part of the problem, not the solution. As he continues to sit on his bully pulpit lying to us, only the most gullible sheeple would buy into his lies at this point. The fact that this SOB hasn't banned air travel from Africa is way beyond scandalous and incompetent. It is, quite literally murder. All flights from Africa should have been banned before the first infectious person got in, but I guess we are waiting for the outbreak to get worse.
In Japan, people wear masks over their face when they have a cold or the flu in order to keep from spreading it. Here, we invite infected illegal aliens over our border, and we allow ebola infected people to come to America from Africa. Africa should be under quarantine, and we should not be sending our military into the hot zone. Let the Commander In Chief go if he's got the balls, which we all know he doesn't. No commander should send young men into a situation they would not go near. We have enough problems here at home. Why should we help Africans and illegals before Americans?
