Richard, where are you at with your Deep Congo in the swamp? Would love an update.
Also, did you ever run any of the F4s?

I've got Dcong F2, F3 &F4's ready to flower the males are from the F2 & F4 generations. Not sure if I'm gonna use the males or let some ChemDD I have running hit the whole lot of them.

These are plants that I revegged from my last grow. Both are Dcong F3 from my Congo leaning line. The bushy one had about a hundred branches removed from it a week ago and produces close to ideal Dcong nugs.
The other plant(third pic)is from the same seed line, it grows with a more indica habit and has the hashplant type flowers. She lacks the aroma profile that I'm looking for in the Dcong, but it is still definitely worth growing:biggrin: it might look super hungry because it is still in the 2 gallon bag of soil that I revegged it in

Ya I agree with you lean the bushy deep Congo phenotype in my swamp patch is quite similar in structure .
Since its photoperiod seems to kick into bud later it will likely be into the end of October , so we will see how it survives the wet and cold , I predict it will go dark and dank.

yeah, once my room gets cold, most Dcongs go purple. I hope she finishes for you.
I assume you made seeds?

I'll try and post pics of the "runt" F4 line plants I'm flowering. All squat, slow Deep Chunk types like I expected.

Guess I shouldn't call them "slow Deep Chunk types" I'm comparing the growth rate of A line bred toward Deep Chunk and is at F4 with mostly 1x1 crosses used to make it, to a gang of ChemDD F2s.Which are definitely going to stretch. Given a bit of time, I've grown Deep Chunks so big people told me they weren't real Deep Chunk. Tom Hill felt like they looked spot on.

Ya would be interesting to see the runts
As tom always said dont ignore the runt in the corner
Theres an interesting runt in the swamp, next time I'm out I'll snap
A pic. Kinda cabbage like

Thanks for posting them Richard! Did that bushy one have the more Congo style nugs on it?
