Eyup.
As stated in my introduction post I've started to stop spending so much time on my regular forums and spread my roots a bit, so to speak, to hopefully learn and share some of the knowledge we all share.
Im currently computer-less and relying on access to Mrs Kippers laptop to update so I apologise if updates are perhaps a bit irregular.
The strains:
Smile by OT1:
"Smile is an indica sat hybrid, much more indica dominant than anything I have ever released before. I made it for people who don’t have a lot of head room and would like to get an idea of what a sativa high is like. Every bit of feedback confirms the sativa spirit is dominant in this cross.
The good things about Smile in my opinion are, is it is not couchlock, everyone that has smoked the bud says it puts a big old smile on their face every time they have a puff of it. I think this cross has a really nicely balanced and quite complex energetic up high. One tester said he thought I should to call it prozac from a seed, as it does what prozac ought to do.
Its a good sog type with little side branching.
Flowering is 8 to 9 weeks, plants stretch very slowly for about 6 weeks, not quite doubling in height at crop time. So flowered at 12 inches most will go to 22 to 23 inches.
Final point Smile respond very well in increased psycho activity if there is some metal halide light when flowering."
Killer Kush F1 FV by Sweet Seeds
"Feminized and non-autoflowering version of one of the most famous strains from the West Coast of USA, developed around the year of 1994 in Sunset Beach, South California, the Ocean Grow Kush, better known as OG Kush.
With an ultra fast flowering, our Killer Kush is the resulting hybrid from the cross between a selected 3rd generation autoflowering genetic line leaning to the indica side and an elite clone of OG Kush. The result is a very potent plant with a very fast flowering.
This strain produces large and aromatic buds, all covered by a thick layer of resin. The aroma is sweet, citric and acid with exotic tones reminiscent of aromas from the Chem Dawg – Diesel family."
The gear:
2 x 120x120 tents (ones 230cm high the other just 200)
one tent has a MH/HPS with digi ballast and a parabolic reflector, the other tent has a gavita 600 in there (got it cheap) so giving that a try this time
6" L1 (fast flow) extraction fans with 150x600mm filters with acoustic ducting.
feed:
Testing out some different pks/silicons this round but my recipe for coco is as such:
canna a&b
roots excel
Silicon (usually plant magic silicon but trying out growth technology and amino treatment this round)
canna boost
Plant magic platinum/Rock Resinator
Terpinator
I feed by hand in veg and then in flower I rig up my home made RTW dripper which I'll post a picture of when i get them out.
We've recently moved castle kipper so my little plants and mothers got shoved down a cellar and neglected and therefore are looking worse for wear but i'm not worried, they'll pick up.
Plants are on an e.c of about 1.1 and pH is at 6.0. Smiles have been in the tents just under a week and the kush have been in for 2 days.
ok enough rambling, picture time:
